Well, as I'm sure some of you have already seen, we occasionally have 100% inbreeds come into our hallowed halls and post really obnoxious stuff. That's easily taken care of. However, it doesn't help when people quote the crap in their responses to it, because that just spreads it out more in the post. In the future, please refrain from quoting stuff that's obviously offensive in your responses.Also, as some members have pointed out, the ASCII language is beginning to get out of hand again. I haven't been enforcing this rule as much lately, but I'm going to start cracking down again if a marked improvement doesn't appear soon. __________________

I whole-heartedly agree. I have noticed the same thing quite often and it's gotten annoying. Its not necessary and not really that hard to refrain from swearing, ASCII or otherwise. There are other ways of expressing yourself, and swearing as a habit in everyday life is no excuse. You think more before you type as opposed to speach. Either way, thanks for bringing this to more people's attention, keep up the good work.

and while we're on the subject, can we see a little less overuse of the whole 'quote' thing. I mean, you get people replying and quoting the whole post above them, then putting 'lol.'
God! People will know which post you are reffering to without the need for them to read it again. Just make a mention of the name of the person who posted it. That should be enough.

Could this also apply to "leetspeek"? Some of the kids here really do need a checkup on what they're saying, keep the autocensor from going balistic, and also to use the UBB Code properly! Just quoting someone and not having anything intelligent to say afterwards really bugs me, and in effect, bumping up people's post count way out of proportion. Please kids, it's not the quantity of posts, it's the quality of them. Overflooding this site ain't a good thing, and Leshy would agree that it taxes the server, regardless of him just moving to a newer one! There's a ton of people here, and the senseless posting, ascii and leetspeaking, and poor UBB Coding can get on a lot of people's nerves. Don't believe me? Ask the Mods!__________________
