Thats the beauty of it. I have won Moxs and I have lost things like Juzams and beta Birds. Its a simply beautiful format and it really makes you think. Just try it sometime, you'd be surprised at what you can win.

Thanks.

In layman's terms, Standard Deviation is a measure of the variability of the data.

hey just to let you know, it might be best to show the information in a range.....not a mean and standard deviations, becuase with normal density curves, you need the 68-95-99.7 rule, and you cant have negative standard deviations, becuase you cant have Negative money......anyway whatever....sorry.....i had nothing better to do

edit: standard deviation is not the measure of variables, its average distance from the mean on both sides. Like the Mean is 50, and the standard deviation is 10, so 1 S.D. would be 60, and with the 68-95-99.7 rule, 34% of people fall between 50 and 60, 99.7% of people fall between 20 and 80.

Basically standard deviation gives how many people fall in a range of a total experiment thing....

for example....

You have a mean(average) of 100, with a standard deviation of 10. With the 68-95-99.7 rule........it will say that 68% of the people fall within 1 standard deviation, or 10 on either side of 100, meaning 68% of people in teh experiment fall b/t 90-110, with 95%, 95% of the people fall within 2 standard deviations, and with the 99.7, 99.7% of the people fall within 3 standard deviations or, b/t 70-130...i hope that helps.

u know? that has made me SO confused i think ill have to jsut laaaayy down.

i think this surveyproves that ppl should spend a lot less on cards. $80 AVERAGE? i spend liek $10. $40 on singles? i spend nothing on singles. maybe we can buy a little less on cards and more to help our favorite card trading place(MOTL for all those that didnt figure it out) stay online.

Kung_Fuscious, where do you live? Once I find out you'll be pwned.

Kluckers, I know for a fact why most females won't play Magic, and it is not due to the ineptitude of grasping a game as simple as Magic when compared to other CCG's... have you seen what revolves through those doors when you go to a major event? I think it's the strict control of the esophagus to keep from regurgitating what was eaten onto the smelly, ugly, and greasy male Magic player. We've got abs of steel! We have the ability to hold our breaths for long periods of time to Deflect the Toxic Stench of our opponents! We do not go forth into such sausage fest events to be cute and flirt with the "dude" that we will be making trades highly in our favor. We are female, hear us bash your heads in at the next event!
