In case you haven't noticed already, a couple new things have been added to the pricelists page. First off, prices for the popular .hack//ENEMY TCG are now listed, as well as prices for the new hit game Duel Masters. Now before you say "I only play Magic, other games are teh suck. Yargh!" a new Magic price guide has also been added: Non-Foil Physical Magic Cards (Weekly). This new price guide for "regular" cards (i.e. real-life cards that aren't foil) bases its data on only the last week's worth of eBay auction data, as opposed to the normal list, which uses roughly the past 30 days. Also, while the standard list "collects" prices by keeping the last known price of a card if it wasn't auctioned off in the past month, the weekly list does not, so only cards that have actually been successfully auctioned appear in this list. Finally, instead of showing the change in price from the previous day, the change column in the weekly guide shows the difference between the weekly price and the standard (30 day) price. So what's the point of this new guide, you ask? Well, with weekly data and change indicators you can get more accurate prices for cards that may be experiencing lag affects due to sudden increases or decreases in their price (check out Arcbound Ravager in both guides and you'll see what I mean). Now for most people the standard guide is just fine, but for those who do large deals and need all the data possible, I believe the new weekly guide will prove to be an indispensable resource. That's awesome Lesh.Edit#2: Just had a thought...it seems like people are selling more and more PSA stuff lately and they always go for more than double the normal price. Would it be possible to have your magic price-determining programs ignore auctions with 'PSA' in the title so that those auctions don't inflate the MOTL prices? Edit#1: had to edit a quote that he edited out of his post. The nerve of him, grrrrrr

One of us, one of us jkI wonder if this will just make more problems though. Like, when I'm trading with someone, they will use the guide thats in their favor (price-wise). This is still a good thing though, so don't get me wrong. __________________ {Email :madalienmonk2@hotmail.com}{AIM :madalienmonk}"To know what we know, and that we do not know what we do not know, that is true knowledge." -Confucius

Great job. For the PSA didn't the price guide is for mint cards? Does PSA just count as mint and should not removed from the price guide?__________________ Current big stuff on my ebay auctions! [foil]DCI Serra Angel[/foil] Other great stuff

PSA-graded cards are already filtered out as best as possible, provided the seller gives some indication that the card is PSA-graded in the title (which I can't imagine why they wouldn't, since it will inflate the value under most circumstances).

As a general rule of thumb, your best bet is to use the weekly price data for a card if its weekly Raw N (the last column of numbers in the list) is greater than or equal to 30 (sort of a magic number in statistics).__________________ Leshrac leshrac@magictraders.com Founder, Owner - Magic Online Trading League (MOTL) "Working hard, so you don't have to..." Traders can use Scrye and Inquest price guides to try to make a trade in their favor as well. It's best for you to use discretion when trading. If you can't knock common sense into them by suggesting they use the weekly price guide, it's best not to trade with them at all.

No, the price guide is not for mint cards. It works out that way on Type 2 stuff, but for older cards you have to realize you're looking at an average price for a card in average condition.

Does the price-getting program also filter out repack auctions? I've always wondered that since that would impact the power prices greatly. Also, good job Lesh.
