Have March of the Machines, Isochron Sceptre and any imprint card that allows imprinting any instant. Imprint the biggest, baddest instant you can find, like Time Stop.Play the Vesuvan Shapeshifter copying the imprint card. Next turn, morph shapeshifter down, then unmorph it copying sceptre. Proceed to time stop opponent on his upkeep every turn.

False Cure: "until end of turn, whenever a player gains life, that player loses 2 life for each 1 life he or she gained."False Cure combined with alot of cards that allows you to play it for free at the cost of giving your opponent life. I've never seen this actually pulled off, I'd say the chances of this going off are very slim. You would never get away with it unless it was a casual game either. Who knows, maybe someday it will be possible? But I somehow doubt it.
I played that combo for a 60-card proxy vintage tournament like 9 years ago. And False Cure, Pack Hunt and Skyshroud Cutter totally got me a win.

I was playing my first legacy tournament with dredge (no LEDs at the time) so had tireless tribes in place of them. Game 2 I attack with tireless tribe turn 2, my opponent says no blocks, so I proceeded to discard my hand to the tribe and then cast a twisted image on the tribe.Probably the biggest troll I've ever done in Magic, even my opponent couldn't help but laugh and tell everyone how he lost

During Scars of Mirrodin, I won 2 local tourneys with:Darksteel Myr + Darksteel Axe + Goblin Tunneler + Worldslayer Got the weirdest looks all day. And plenty of people were not happy with the fact that my win condition involved 10 turns of nothing but my little myr swinging.

I didn't think this up, a friend showed me it after he saw it online. There is this really convoluted combo with 2x oblivion ring and 2x Detention Sphere. If you can pull it off you get infinite mana, hp, whatever etb you want. To make things simpler I'll be using Oblivion Ring = Oring1, oring2 Detention Sphere =DS1, DS2 target of combo= target (Burning Tree Emissary for mana) Start by casting oring1 on your target
cast DS1 removing oring1. oring1 leaves play returning your target to play. Cast oring2 targeting DS1 DS1 leaves play and oring1 comes back in. hit your target. Cast DS2 hitting both o-rings. Target and DS1 come back into play. Target DS2 with DS1. Both O-rings come back into play. Hit the target and his DS1. From here on you just cycle through the ETB and removals from the the ds1 and 2 and the orings. I think this combo fits in this thread nicely. Because it is indeed stupid... Not stupidly good, but if you pull it off, Awesome!

I thought Detention Sphere couldn't hit another Detention Sphere.So DS1 couldn't hit DS2, right?

Correct, "you may exile target nonland permanent not named Detention Sphere" There is a very similar, equally stupid, combo where you can get infinite ETB triggers by chaining 3 Fiend Hunters on each other though. FH1 is already exiled by FH2 play FH3, target FH2 ... FH2 leaves, FH1 comes back, target FH3 FH3 leaves, FH2 comes back, target FH1 FH1 leaves, FH3 comes back, target FH2

You are correct. I remembered the combo wrong. I looked it up this time and its the same exact idea only with 3 orings and 1 detention sphere. I forgot about the no detention sphere clause
