I LOVE Troll & Toad. Everyone in my office does all our buying/selling with T&T. I do agree some of the "NM" is more EXish. But thats mostly on 2.00-5.00 cards. When I bought my NM Usea from them it was truly NM.Plus you cant beat .99 s/h!!!! Their prices are close to the best i could find and inventory is usually pretty good. They do get bought out quickly when cards jump in value, but so do most stores. just my thoughts... Tim

If you are using ebay for magic card stores to get cards, I can recommend Urza's Janitor for english cards and many of the dealers that work in China for foreign cards. (Normally, I try to avoid using Asia due to long waits for cards to arrive).

Bought 2 cases of RoE from Cardhaus. Bought 8 Vengevines at the $15 pricemark when inventory showed 15 available. A few days pass, my card is charged for all. 2 days before shipping, I recieve notice they were only sending 4 Vengevines (which they had them posted at $40 on the site). They said they try to fulfill all preorders regardless of price, and try to get everyone a playset. Really? I order 8, you bill me for 8, I pay for 8. Later they jump in price $25 before you ship and oh, now you only get 4. Sounds like Interstate commercial fraud to me. I won't order from these crooked people again.

to be honest with you you got billed for 8 most likely automatically. its not something they had control over. you placed an order on their site, ran your card through for $xx.xx and thats what you got charged. a day or two later they responded with the lessening of the order and most likely refunded your card for the difference. thats not Interstate commerce fraud. thats business. most dealers these days wont let you buy more than a playset or so of certain cards because it looks bad on them to more people if they are always out of certain cards because people wont to try and wreck them for certain cards. also most dealers dont sell to other dealers. I personally dont on my site. Ive had orders come in from channelfireball and smedlock. I just politely refund their money and tell them its against my policy which IS posted on my site. For instance I had someone try and buy me out of frost titans(30+) right after the japanese deck got hot. I refused to ship them because i knew they were trying to turn a profit on them. I would rather tick off 1 reseller and make 8 other people happy that can now buy a playset of them from me.

i've placed multiple 300+ buying and selling orders with card kingdom and have always had no trouble. once they forgot to sign a cheque when they mailed it to me put i just took a photo of it ripped up and e-mailed it to their support and i got a new one a week later (cause i live in canada it takes a couple more days) I also like how their site is set up. The "customers also bought" thing gets me in trouble though. lol

My votes:SCG - silly prices, but good experience otherwise a time or two. Capefeargames.com - reasonable prices. Messed up an order one time (shorted me two blackcleave cliffs) and rushed me 4 (not just two) a couple days later. Generally good customer service in my experience. And actually I've never have a bad tcgplayer experience.

That is pretty crappy, unless you were selling them to those other players for the same price (in which case I don't really have a problem with it). I generally don't order more than 8-10 of any card (sometimes I want to speculate a tad, plus have a playset left).

First of all, it's whatever. It's not wrong, you're just unable to rob an online store of their things. Secondly, this is from like 2010.

I have ordered from Troll And Toad a few times, and the one problem I had was fixed immediately. I order from SCG as well with no problems. They tend to have the best combination of cards I'm looking for/ price Im willing to pay, since I never ever buy hot singles. I've also used the MOTL store twice now and they were great both times. Beyond those three, I know I've ordered from others, but I honestly couldn't tell you who.__________________ *My LJ*Letter Bombs!*FB*Logout- MM is a copycat! (So am I)*CKGB

In summary, MTG Fanatic is really selling your cards on consignment and refuses cards that decrease in value between the time they actually pay and when they are received. They also steal ("lose") shipments received on occasion. They pretty much embody the worst of online MTG dealers. Anybody who willingly sells to them is asking to get ripped./thread

I usually like ordering through Troll and Toad, but they absolutely refused to send me cards to my PO Box because it was different from my credit card address and it took a good two weeks/lots of phone calls to get that cleared up, so I'm still a bit miffed...

they do that to prevent fraud, scg does too. if your cc is registered to one address, that is the only address they will ship to. pretty easy to claim your cc was stolen amd have a chargeback happen, when the product is not being mailed to your known address.__________________ "He fights you not because you have wronged him, but because you are there."<@BrassMan> what do you need new tech for? <@BrassMan> gush is unrestricted <@Anusien> Pretty sure New Zealanders are the sheep shaggers <KIP_NZ> Anusien: I'm a kiwi and I've shagged a sheep

Isn't this kind of hypocritical saying they are only trying to turn a profit when you as a store do the same thing offering lower buy prices then sell prices? I personally have never refuse a sale once it has been put thru my site or tcgplayer, even when I saw a run on a card and couldn't get mine off or raise the price some on them. Here is different as a sale isn't final until all info is exchanged so things can change before then. But once a payment is made it's a done deal and anyone who tries to argue against that as someone else trying to make a profit is being quite hypocritical.

Just throwing in my experiences. ABU Games: First site i shopped at after coming back to magic. Their prices are expected for a store, but they have good customer service and I've always received my cards quickly. I've sold to them in the past as well and those transactions were flawless.
SCG: Only bought from them them once. Customer service called with an error for my transaction. Everything was resolved easily and I got all of my cards quickly and in good condition. (Also at the time they were the cheapest for the foil Emrakul I was looking for)

how is ABU when it comes to grading? I'm hoping to trade them a bunch of stuff but don't want to get hosed if I'm off on my grading a little bit.

I have had no problems with ABU's grading. Whenever I came back to magic last year I was looking to unload some cards that increased in value since I had stopped playing. I traded a couple of lots into ABU to get some of the new cards available. I think I've traded to them 3 times and bought from them a handful more. I'm an honest grader and they seem to agree. I had no problem selling them cards and have always received the amount agreed upon through their site. Also, because you get 25% extra in store credit you can get some nice change for cards. I traded them a Stifle a while ago and got around 18$ (which is about what it was to buy). EDIT: On occasion I'll get a "played" I'd consider in poor condition or a "NM" card that I would mark as played. But each time the cards have been insignificant in value and for casual decks so I haven't bothered contacting them about it.

My experience with them is that up to 60% of their "NM" cards will be EX+, with a few EX.I buy a limited selection of older items, and you're unlikely to have that problem with new cards (where the majority of the population is truly NM), but generally I'm willing to pay more for Starcity's SP than ABU's NM. __________________ Always buying misprints.
