I don't know which is better because I've never tried the second kind.
Dredge is quite unfair and has no interaction with the opponent other than 4x cabal therapy to make sure they can't do anything.

I'm quite confused... why is there a one of undiscovered paradise in the deck? What is it's purpose...

I'm quite keen to build a legacy dredge deck after reading the list but just wondering... if let's say a leyline of the void hits the board. I just scoop right? :P

Undiscovered Paradise is a painless source of any color mana. The return-to-hand clause is pretty much irrelevant, since you'll rarely have any non-dredged cards in hand after a turn or two to cast anyway.

If you let a Void resolve and you haven't sideboarded in any of the answers, then yeah, you're boned, time to scoop.

Any good magic stores in Cologne Germany or Munich? In Germany for a week ( typeing this on the plane heading there) or so and a few packs of German cards sounded like a fun souvenir.

Hey can anyone give me a quick magic workstation 101? I want to start trying a few new deck ideas on it because I can't really make it to my FNM consistantly. For example, do I have to pay the 30 dollars to get it? Is there a better way? Is it really a good program with good players? thanks for your help in advance guys.

No, you dont have to pay the $30 (i dont know anyone that has. i believe the creators have abandoned it honestly). The program is very simple, it allows you to add a database of cards and lets you build decks with them. It also lets you connect to other players. That's it. It has zero rules enforcement, so a lot of times, players argue over stupid ****. Also, approx 95% of the players using it online are terrible. They will argue things that don't even make sense sometimes.

Its fine to goldfish a deck, and if you actually know people that will play with you, it's pretty useful. Using it to test against random people is a terrible idea, however.

Can someone tell me why Jace, the Mind Sculptor is $65? I just don't see why it is so great.

Mythic, drafts were ZZW (i.e. not a lot of WWK opened) and good in every format.

Got an awesome steaming pile of junk both in terms of monetary and play value in my 6 ROE packs for the sealed daily.

yea i know, who needs card draw, removal and a win condition all in one card. And mythic rarity never affects the price of cards - I just dont get it...

I'm kind of underwhelmed by this. Though I've only done one sealed event and four M11 drafts I'm just not that impressed. It's just so simple compared to drafting RoE and the game play isn't as fun. Thinking of skipping M11 draft and seeing what SoM brings.

The EV for MTGO prereleases is generally horrible. Release events have better payout and lower cost.

I'm just hoping for better luck in M11, haven't had much of it in ROE sealed.

And thanks for the tip, I guess this weekend will be more ROE drafting.

If you want to go infinite, just spend money on a constructed deck, play that and use the winning to fund your drafting.

Also, ROE sealed > ROE drafting, i have yet to go less than 3-1 in a DE in that set
