Yep, that was probably me. A ton of people wanted to take pictures of it.

i might post later on but the only thing worth mentioning in my collection is my 1000 tectonic edge cards. I was speculating on it and hope it will pay off later on.

Meh, I don't have a camera, but it's easy to describe:Shelf in my wardrobe with a DeckMaster Garfield VS Finkel silver box (decks are inside + enveloppes/top loaders for trades on MOTL) 1 Ultra-Pro binder that I can wear on my shoulder with 75 x 9 pages full of random crappy rares/foils + my "good" section at the end (my have list on motl) and 1 small binder with a Brom picture on it (prolly ultra-pro, didn't check) with all my unlisted stuff that I'm reluctant to trade. That's it, I hate having a lot of binders/boxes, I tend to sell my commons/uncommons to new players for like 5$ a boxe and I always trade up at the local store to help me thinner my collection down with bigger cards. Clean freak here

well there's always a chance there won't be many playable artifacts in Scars of Mirrodin right?

even if there is playable artifacts in scars, there's much more required in order for Thada to gain value.-there has to be artifacts worth playing in a type two deck -they have to be played in a deck that also runs islands because if the deck doesnt have island it likely has forest or mountain meaning it has lightning bolts and blockers. -it has to be playable as a four of in a deck that is heavy blue. -the artifact from scars has to be good enough to warrant four slots of a 2/2 for UU1 just to grab. even if all these requirements are met, it still seems like thada will be a sideboard card. And plus, Thada is a regular rare. a sideboard only playable non mythic rare could never breach $2. but i suppose there is still some profit to be made in the coins. Fake EDIT: wow i just looked up Thada right before i clicked submit, and realized not only that Thada is legendary but also that you dont put the artifact directly into play, you have to pay the mana to play it. wow... case closed, this card is going nowhere

Thadas power level has already been proven in other formats... its likely the best creature in the t1 format. Scars has "a ****ton of artifacts" so the chances of things being widely played that Thada will be nuts with is very very high. Spreading seas is not only good, but makes Thada unblockable as well. It seems the format is going to lean to the point were Thada is going to be absolutely nuts. Even if it only jumps to 2 bucks I'll be making 8 times my money off of the 100 or so I've already picked up, so it seems like a fine investment.

really, whats the proof there will be a lot of artifacts in scars? Also, bob is way better in vintage. Spellstutter sprite is better in vintage and I haven't even seen it see play.

Thada is pretty much a one or two hit kill in vintage, its pretty much the undisputed best man in the format. Put it this way, it gives you a demonic tutor out of your opponents deck every turn... that definitely beats drawing an extra card each turn lol. Its really no contest. Are you really asking about there being artifacts in scars of mirrodin? Really? That's the argument you want to go with?

If that is the case, there are cards better than Thada for vintage format.

The problem is that nobody plays Thada. I did for a while when I played Noble Fish, but it was considered a "rogue idea". __________________ MOTL's Most Likely to Play in the Pro Tour - Three Years Running for 2007, 2008, and 2009 (My Nationals) Cracking the Top 100 Ref Count - 4/1/10 (Currently #88)

Thada is MUCH better then Trygon lol, MUCH better then trinket too. In the Time Vault based format Thada is just undeniably nuts.In 1.5 Thada is currently the best SB option vs the Thopter decks as well... its VERY good, and people are starting to catch on to it.

So your saying that tinker is the best CREATURE in T1? Sheesh....But yeah Thada is kinda like a Tinker...except ya don't have to sac anything, ya can use it everyturn, and your pulling the artifacts out of your opponents deck instead of your own.

Its at least an interesting discussion... I really can't be the only person that realizes DTing out of your opponents deck is nuts right? Right???In Vintage its often an unblockable 1 hit kill... How exactly is that subpar? Its obviously better then Confidant, as AT WORST it generates the same amount of card advantage every turn, while still being usable with force of will, and not popping you for damage, while at best just ending the game in a single hit which confidant can't really do. There really isn't much reason to run Confidant over Thada in any vintage deck unless your expecting an unpowered meta of some sort. Has competitive vintage deteriorated so much lately that people do not realize this? In the new T2 Thada will effectively be a confidant, being able to draw you an extra card out of your opponents library every turn all without the life loss, and at a similar cost. It should be very very good. I also have far more of them, that was just what was on my desk lol...I've been picking them up for 10-25 cents a piece for months now. With that said if anybody wants to sell any I will buy any number of them from anyone at 25 cents a piece. Oh and here is a neat swamp... http://images.community.wizards.com/community.wizards. com/user/randommiser/5ab8b8440ade855c556c49f9216959b2.jpg?v=151650
