I believe this guy just made a mistake. Like he said, if he was trying to deceive people he wouldn't have been talking about it on this site. Also, I did a quick Google search of his name and it's not associated with any other MtG sites. I think he just made an error.

I truly believe he just made a mistake.

It's pretty understandable that he/she didn't know wasteland was an actual card, not a group of cards, or a denomination of a certain card type, etc.

Yeah, I thought of that. But I think if he was being deceiving then he sure chose the wrong place to bring up his little plan haha.
