Topic: How many foil zendikar basics do you own?

I will for sure get lots of HATE pm's and emails for this but here it goes. I dislike John Avon art. I guess it is not so much his art, but the fact people go nuts for it. Take this topic FUll ART ZEN LANDS... Out of all the pics for each type, There is at least 1 other pic of that type I like MUCH MUCH MUCH more than his. Avon just seems to be "the cool" thing to do. Well just like I didn't turn into a drunk after I turned 21 (many many many moons ago) I am not jumping on the Avon band wagon.

For Zendikar lands, I think Veronica's lands and Avon's Forests are the top 6 pictures. I am glad that Veronica's lands are starting to catch up in prices. Show I am correct =)

I do like the Avon art a lot, but I think his older ones are better. Of all the non-special basics (non beta, guru, zen, etc.), I like this Forest of his the best.

I have ~11 Foils Zendikar Lands, reading this makes me  Did manage to get a Foil Unhinged Island and ~30 Non-Foil Unhinged Lands in a 10$ Unhinged Sealed about a year ago though...that was fun.. __________________

Actually I bought the bulk of my Zen foil basics when they were $4-6 (island 6, non-island 4-5). At that time, they had tripled in value locally from S$2 to S$7. A local had a hoard of 400+ pieces that he wanted to cash out. Others were lowballing him. I was the exception and got all his cards except for 10+ pieces which a collector bought.

Although I sell maybe 2-3 of these lands per week at my gaming store, I still have around 35-60 of these. They look great, but demand is low due to most of our customers being college students working for about $8-$9/hour. Hence, I am reluctant to buy any more and would rather trade as a way to save money, as any item not sold at the store is money lost.__________________

Only 5. eventually will pick up 20 of each Meignaud Arts. Just takes time/monies.

Normally I'm a fan of the Avon land art, but I agree with you in this case. All the Zendikar lands I want are from Veronique Meignaud, or in the one case that is not(Mountain) Vincent Proce.
