The best flavor text is a meme of Patrick Stewart with a quote "Use th force, Harry" ~ Gandalf...and above it a saying "How to **** off 4 groups of nerds at once".

Fifth Wanderlust:"How terrible to wander wishing only to escape oneself." —Taysir Horrible Hordes: "Few are able to underestimate the hordes." We can all agree, this pretty much ends the discussion?

I've always been partial to Raging Goblin; "He raged at the world, at his family, at his life. But mostly he just raged."Followed closely by the use of Coleridge's 'The Rime of the Ancient Mariner' on Scathe Zombies; "They groaned, they stirred, they all uprose, Nor spake, nor moved their eyes; It had been strange, even in a dream, To have seen those dead men rise."

Raging Goblin He raged at the world, at his family, at his life. But mostly he just raged.B.F.M "It was big. Really, really big. No, bigger than that. Even bigger. Keep going. More. No, more. Look, we're talking krakens and dreadnoughts for jewelry. It was big"—Arna Kennerüd, skyknight

I like the Abyss: "An immense river of oblivion is sweeping us away into a nameless abyss." (Ernest Renan, Souvenirs d'Enfance et de Jeunesse)What's is cool is that this was written by a French priest who, after a crisis of faith, turned to secular historical and philosophical criticism. I feel that this background really gives a greater depth to the magic card, in that we can imagine the nihilism Renan is imagining in light of his broken faith. And this is represented by the constant, unavoidable killing of the magic card. But alas! 'Clever' wear-bear puns are preferred to historical flavor text. Wouldn't want to get in the way of 'world-building'...

as Renan followed this nihilistic path, leaving the ineffable existential ramifications of his broken faith behind, perhaps he encountered a werebear that jokingly said 'hey, I'm exercising my right to bear arms.' Think about it.

Realworld quotes like this are fine (and should appear more). Werebear is radder though.

ReparationsSorry I burned down your village. Here's some gold. And Wave of Indifference "Darius?" "Yeah?" "There's a goblin sneaking up on you." "So?" "Just sayin'." I love them both because they are funny and clever, and relevant to what the card does.
