I only play eternal formats due to wife + child not allowing me to keep up with any other formats.

I have the following decks currently:
Dredge
Tin Fins
Sneak n Show
High Tide
Nether Void fun/pet deck (Nether Void + Cavern of Souls + ZOMBIES!)

Currently building:
Lands
BUG

I tend to have a single playset of all the stuff to build a deck & sleeve stuff the same eg I only own 4 Polluted Delta's and 3 of my decks play them. I sleeve all my decks with Green Dragon Shields & just move them into what ever deck I want that day. If it's a common / uncommon under $10 I'll buy a 2nd set so I don't have to move it around.

Nope, and i think its one of the most healthy formats in magic right now.

You never see one deck win week after week and many different decks do well.

I don't have many gripes about legacy, i do think Show and Tell does kill some deck archetypes but it doesn't dominate the format.

Playing 4 color (no blue) loam. Went 4-0-1 to win last month with 28 players.

I wish I could use power in Legacy..... or I wish other people played Vintage round here!

Serious legacy question:

Why does high tide combo not do better? Playing very little legacy myself, I can only speculate that it is one or a combination of the following:

Not enough people (or not enough skilled people) playing it.
Card availability (Candelabra; somewhat ties into previous reason.)
Not well positioned in the current meta.
Slower and/or less resilient and/or has less disruption than other combo decks. (also somewhat ties into previous reason.)

I started legacy when it was announced. I play Humility Stax, Dredge and I'm building ANT right now. Couldn't afford the P9 when I realized that free mana (moxens/lotus) wasn't junk....''why would I pay 50$ for a crappy artifact that gives 3 mana and dies?'' -_-

Not fast enough for the meta. Hand disruption and faster combo decks (ANT) are all over the place.

Also, yes, Candelabra is a bit out of reach for many players :P

Actually Candle's aren't that bad when you considor what a set of dual lands set you back as a mana base for most other decks. Also there the instant speed version running Reset's that goes off in the other players upkeep which is quite a bit cheaper to build due to no candles or Time Spirals.

I play High Tide, it's a great deck if you're going to be up against a feild of SnT and BUG type (read slower) decks but in a world of ANT and Tin Fins it's just to slow. If the meta game slows down High Tide is super consistent so it's one of those decks you want to have access to if you have the resources to sit on the cards not doing anything for most of the year.
