Topic: GP Vegas win loss results.

Post here if you want to tell about what you played and how you did at GP Vegas. I was given in the deck swap a Red/White deck with my deck rares being Foil Sword of Fire and Ice, Adarkar Valkyrie, and Squee Goblin Nabob and went 5 and 0 before losing the last 3 to go 5 and 3. Deck Rares 1 Sword of Fire and Ice

At first glance looks pretty solid, though unsure how squee performs in that meta. Seems like it might NOT be a strong rare in that field. Seems an expensive chumping mechanism, unless you have bone splitter to trade and gain card advantage.

Squee + Tar pitcher = reuseable dmg turn after turn for 2R __________________

Arcbound Worker seems horribly out of place in that list, unless you really just needed a one drop.__________________

Squee was simply stall and tar pitcher fodder. I do agree with the arcbound worker being out of place but I wanted a quick creature equip a sword of fire and ice to. Stingscourgers are 2 to cast but 4 echo.

foil sword? lucky. Finding one of those is becoming hard already... so annoying.

Yeah, I consider myself lucky. Real lucky was the guy next to me who was given a foil Tarmogoyf, foil Gift's Ungiven, and a non foil Vendilion Clique so he walked up and dropped from the tournament.  I will say that with the dealers I saw more foil Tarmogoyfs than any other mythic.

Yes, the ones from day 2 do. Some of them have a nice LV written in sharpie.
