im form Australia looking for other people near me who play the game/ trade the cards... was thinking about starting an aussie facebook page just for aussies... I need to know if there is an audience big enough for it.thanks __________________

Not from Oz but considering Oz is about 2/3 that of Canada and, like Canada, most of the population is in a few cities, and there's tons of magic players in Canada, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a population of Aussies out there.Have you tried looking for specialized Aussie forums and websites for magic? This is a good website but be prepared to be charged punishing shipping rates from anybody from the USA. The Singapore dealers on here will have more reasonable prices, though. If you can't find anything start your own facebook page and advertise it on your signature or whatever. You might get lucky and build your own community.

If you're a beginner to the game as your sig implies you should look for a local games/hobby/comic store and there I'm sure they could direct you to people who play. Newcastle looks to be pretty close to you, yeah? With a pop of 300k there is bound to be lots of Magic players there if not in your own city. Good luck!

hey bud im in OZ. Im in Canberra, where r u located?We have a pretty big Magic community in Canberra and i know most of the eastern capitals Melbourne, Sydney and Bris have fairly large playing bases. Ive traded with plenty of people in Melbourne before

hey im from nsw pelaw main exactly... about 20 minutes from Cessnock, half hour the other way to Newcastle and an hour and a half from Sydney if traffic is friendly  I have found a shop in Newcastle good games who hosts payed Friday night magic at $10 but I am looking for casual play, I need help getting used to using real cards with real people and I cant afford to pay money to play a game I know I will lose...
I have played on my xbox but the virtual versions are never the same as real life playing. this is why I ask. __________________

probably best to refer to the facebook pages KIP put up then if that fails send a shout out at the good games store you know of. put a flyer up or something and see if anyone else is in your area.
