And I hope you realize, there will likely be no 'opposition' in this post, aside from that of mine, as was in the old one.. This is after all, the Magic Online Trading League. Christians who don't play Magic aren't going to randomly go into General Discussion and defend their beliefs.

If anything magic promotes religion. Just look at Wrath of God and Armogeddon, the acknowlege the presence of God(which is more then most other games). Of corse in all equality there is always an opposite(in this case evil). This evil is most viewed in the color black. Of corse, compared to good(lets say for now white), evil is really watered down. The only exception i can think of is Unholy Stranth(which later edited the pentagram), which of corse they changed to be less offencive to some people. So i ask you, who had the better deal? Good or Evil? If u think about it(i think) the chruch got the better deal out of the game then saten did. Well thats of corse my two cents. darkmage777

Having to assure someone of your maturity level is one of the best ways to undermine any beliefs that you are mature that they might have had in the first place.Example - "Fancy" Katsup. They are making it a point to tell me the katsup IS in fact fancy. That makes me wonder. Would I have thought the katsup was fancy on my own? And how fancy can katsup really be? I realize this has nothing to do with religion...Ive just always wondered about "fancy" things. I believe ive also seen "fancy" crayons. Has anyone else noticed that the lower quality something is the more they feel the need to assure you that its ok? I figured since this religion debate will NEVER be solved, since everyone has their own beliefs and the MOTL message board is not likely to convert anyone's faith, or lack thereof, Lets change the subject. __________________ Man who snatches kisses when young, kisses snatches when old.

hey Ally! wow, so this is the forum you hang out in... come to the General discussion once in awhile! Some guys are kinda interested in meeting u ^_^ naw, j/k ... or am I? keke! ~*~but to get more serious... I agree with trademark on the idea to just LET THIS LIE, DIE, and be PUT TO PEACE. and Kworb - DON'T go around this post saying what you are saying. no one dissed your beliefs. so don't diss theirs. personally I would like to say sorry on behalf of everyone who is AND isn't sorry for each other. this is a touchy subject which should be just left alone. lets get back to our lives, people, lets continue playing magic, lets continue playing rebel white, necropotence black - without thinking about the consequences because of it after death. its all unneccesary. its something which shouldn't even be thought upon. I support BOTH sides. but the deal is this - if you think magic is evil, don't play it. if you think it's not evil - play it. "whatever floats your boat", as Ally tells me occasionally. ^_^ Thanks all - lets leave this post alone now - and just emerge as fellow magic players again. emerge as friends which should NOT quarrel over things like this - but maybe quarrel over who can kick another person's butt in Magic. that's how its all suppose to be. __________________ Liutenant Evangelion G.A.B. - The Blue Team xRobinx73@hotmail.com Those who fear the darkness have never seen what the light can do. *edit* Chill out on the returns. Trademark, how can we toy with others beliefs?! Atheists are not the ones that declare war on country's because they dont believe the same things. The catholics were the worst of all when it came to this. And most other religions pulled the same bull. We dont toy with your beliefs, you toy with each others beliefs.

I figured this discussion would start to go down this road, they always do. Before anyone else gets offended, I'm closing this thread.__________________ Leshrac leshrac@magictraders.com Founder, Owner - Magic Online Trading League (MOTL)
