I was moderating the Trading forums at the time and these three worked tirelessly to provide a sense of security to traders here that wasn't available elsewhere at the time. I realize that none of these are active anymore, but after coming back from a long hiatus myself and seeing what a mess online trading has become with arguements over sending responsibility and waivers, it makes me miss the simplier times and the effort that these three made to make MOTL the safest place to trade on the internet.

Wow I just realized that I am a 10yr member. Didn't seem like that long. I always loved these MOTL award threads, although I generally didn't vote on them. I think I voted once to self-nominate myself for the Mike Bullard award. Even I think my jokes are lame sometimes. __________________

lotusblossom went inactive very shortly after we moved to these forums if memory serves me. I don't think he lasted to the fall. I believe squizz was moved to BTA after that. But again, it was a billion years ago.

He was but Shadowizar took over for him after that, Squizz came much later.

Doubt it, believe it was shadowizar, iakae, raistlin and Genesis who took over, although iakae and Genesis did not last long and that's where squizz and I took over.

Maybe my memory is fuzzy then, I remember making a big push for him to be modded, and he wanted to do the BTA, thought he was in the crop of mods after me.

Wow. I used to come here every few months or so just to check in. I havent been back in quite some time and I see I was nominated! Now who in world would remember me and back far enough to vote for me? Looking at that list of names brings back so many memories of my time on these boards. My favorite had to be helping those that had gotten ripped off by bad traders. It was a nice feeling to get someone their cards back or some other type of satisfaction. I also remember all the conversations we had in the gen forums (I am thinking about you Squirrel, Iakae, Serra, and a few others!).
I went to the Bad Trader forum after Shadowizar. He did handle them himself for awhile as did I. I also remember the move to the new site. I used to have the old bookmarked, but it has since been lost.
