POST TEAM NAMES
Rules for drafting:

1. 24 hours for a pick. If your pick is expired, you still retain your pick, you just make it whenever you can.
2. Snake style draft. Person who picks 1st will also pick 24th and 25th, etc.
3. Trading of picks/players is allowed. Feel free to PM your fellow managers with offers. Trades are up to the commissioner's approval. But barring something grossly one-sided, it will go through. We've never had this happen before, but I want to retain that power just in case.
4. If you and another manager have made a trade for a pick that is currently up, post the details of the trade on the draft thread. If it's straight for players or for picks yet to be drafted, post it on this one.
5. Expired picks cannot be traded.
6. If you know you're not going to be around a computer for several days, send me a list of players you want, in order. List enough players to cover the number of picks. So if you're up in 6 picks, send me a list 6 players in the order you want them drafted. If the first 5 are taken, then the 6th will go.

Here's the basics:

- 12 Teams (not expanding this)
- H2H scoring
- Batters Stat Categories: Runs (R), Home Runs (HR), Runs Batted In (RBI), Stolen Bases (SB), Batting Average (AVG)
- Pitchers Stat Categories: Wins (W), Saves (SV), Strikeouts (K), Earned Run Average (ERA), (Walks + Hits)/ Innings Pitched (WHIP)
- 23 man rosters, 2 DL spots.

When signing up, please list your Yahoo ID and team name as well so there's a master list.

For those of you unfamiliar, you can trade draft picks/players during the draft.

First off...I will not flip out and smash your computer screen. I am not holding anything in my pocket. I was out of town all weekend and then I had a rough last two weeks. You can ask Dane if this is true in PM if you please. I also have not had internet access all week. I will be making a pick for this. I am not taking Oswalt.

Second, there is no making up rules in the middle of the draft. There is no rule ANYWHERE stating that if you do not make a pick one will be made for you. How many pics have I missed in this years and last years draft that were not announced ahead of time that I would be missing? Please look and tell me.

It just seemed off that you only made 1 pick instead of taking the two you owed.

It really irritates me that some people dont care enough to actively participate.
I am not talking about a 1-time miss due to life happening like Blood and JCMD.

I'll compromise and rescind the Oswalt pick, and instead turn that into another last-round pick. So you'll get pollock and Gomes, but Feliz will go back in the player pool.

Yeah, it sucks that life happens, but life happens to all of us. You could have sent me a list of players to take. I encouraged it multiple times.

When the season starts Oswalt will be on your roster as filler for the blank spot. All teams have to have full rosters.

If you don't like it, well, I said NUMEROUS times that if you know you're going to be gone, send me a list of players to take and I'll use that. And maatw and hilikuS are the only ones who did that.
