I feel this deserves it's own thread. He was one of the greats. http://variety.com/2014/film/news/robin-williams-found-dead-in-possible-suicide-1201280386/ I can't believe he's dead. And by what seems to be his own hand. Thanks, Jazaray

I heard a little while ago, very sad news to hear he was struggling with depression in this way. He was a great enteratiner as both an actor and a comedian. I remember Mork and Mindy from when I was a child, and saw several of his movies, and really liked Good Will Hunting and Good Morning Vietnam. Very unfortunate to have a life cut short in this way.

I normally don't care about what happens with celebs etc, but this hurts. Robin Williams seemed like an awesome person. Depression sucks and it just shows how powerful it can be and how all consuming it is when it can take down someone like him. RIP Peter Pan

When I heard it, I figured there was something else in play. Most people don't make it 63 years with lifelong depression bad enough to take their own life. I figured it was like Hunter S Thompson, who committed suicide after being diagnosed with a terminal illness. Then a couple days later Williams' wife revealed he had early stage Parkinson's disease. It makes more sense to me now, though I'm still kind of in shock. I hope his body of work outlives all of us.__________________ *My LJ*Letter Bombs!*FB*Logout- MM is a copycat! (So am I)*CKGB
