Yay! My computer died today. $1,000 later, new computer being picked up Tuesday. Oh and posting from an iPad is still a pain in the butt.

Avengers 2 was weak. Real bummer. I was pretty excited. Joss Whedon sucking can't be covered up by Disney buxx though. The first movie must have been a fluke. That guy is awful.

Tbh the first avengers was so great and this one so hyped there is no way it could have met my expectations. Still enjoyed it tho __________________ Back in my day you could get a soda for a quarter and an underground sea for a Hamilton.

True. Avengers, Captain America 2, and Guardians of the Galaxy are pretty tough acts to follow. Still, sloppy editing, and a too "funny ha-ha" Ultron is what they is. There was some chatter over on iFanboy that there was a scene cut out that would have explained Thor's visions better. Between plot holes and bad editing, I'd figure that the projectionist hacked up the reels if everything wasn't digital now.

It seems like the Marvel Cinematic Universe might be getting too convoluted/large for its own good. All that continuity requires dropping foreshadowing and other references into movies that just distract from the main plot. Doesn't help when you probably have a committee telling you what you can/can't do in your movie as well so as not to impact other projects that are already underway. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!I collect Granite Gargoyles. I hope in part 3 they bring in Vision. That'd be awesome.__________________ I'm a geek, you're a geek. Let's trade.Lord Flasheart: Enter the man who has no underwear. Ask me why. Use third-party services people. If the other trader doesn't want to use or pay for it, move on. It's almost never worth it. They obviously are. War Machine, Flying Guy, Scarlet Witch and Vision were all part of the "avengers" in the final scene... even though Flying Guy is not actually super-powered. Vision is the most comic-booky of the characters so far. Flies, lasers from his head, and a flowing cape. He's basically what superman should be in the DC movies, instead of a whiney twit. Whats-his-name who pilots War Machine is at least a fun contrast to Stark, especially because Downey Jr was putting a bit less heart into his performance in Avengers 2. Since Iron Man is the bad guy in Captain America 3, War Machine will probably be the "guy in power armor" in Avengers 3. Hopefully Hawkeye comes back, or even gets his own movie. He shoots badly weighted arrows with 100% accuracy and is otherwise not super powered. A bit more interesting than some invincible guy fighting another invincible guy until McGuffin #2 glows. Also, Hulk running away. New movie: Hulk 2: Planet Hulk. Or Guardians of the Galaxy 2: The Hulk gets angry.

well don't forget some of this is directly setting up for Captain America: Civil War. Lots will happen before we even get to the next Avengers movie __________________ Back in my day you could get a soda for a quarter and an underground sea for a Hamilton.

Yeah, we're even having Howard the Duck before Avengers 3. Wonder if spiderman will be in civil war, considering he's kind of a key character in it. Nobody has a secret identity in the current marvel movie universe except maybe Hawkeye. The really lame secret identity of Thor isn't around. Here's hoping they aren't setting his family up to get shot after all of those scenes with him in it.

WHAT!? Howard the Duck is awesome. I've got his first appearance of Adventure into Fear #19, the first appearance of Kiss in comics that was a Howard the Duck issue, the Funko Pop figure, and Howard the Psyduck in my Pokémon games. I'm slowly getting a full run of the Steve Gerber comics. I want to get an original one sheet movie poster eventually. I can't wait for the Infinity figure to come out.

Haven't seen her in a while. I heard she had some personal issues to attend to, but I'm not the most well-informed member here. I hope she's ok. __________________ I'm a geek, you're a geek. I'm here, but my MOTL email isn't working, and I haven't really been able to use the computer much until very recently. I injured my arm was unable to use it very well. It still tends to go numb while I'm typing or even just sitting around, it sucks. My son will be graduating next month and going to the college of his choice ($12,000 parental loan later.. uggh). He also got inducted into the Rhode Island Honor Society, so proud! My daughter is still attending the community college here, but has switched her major to Chemical Engineering, she seems to think that the money from that job will set her for life... I hate hate hate my job now, it sucks and I wish I could get a new one, but Tom and I now work together and with only the two cars, one of which is being exclusively used by my daughter, it's not practical. Especially since the building won't let us get another car. :-\ "Obama care" kicked my husband and I off of the free health care because they include both my son and my daughter's income in our "household income" and we make too much to get it, I don't know how they expect us to pay over $200 a month for the healthcare, plus the deductible and all my medications (I take 7 different meds) and still be able to live, but whatever. Tom's ex is taking him back to court to get the child support reduced, but we really don't care much about her money, I just wish she'd actually see the kids instead of canceling on them all the time. Although once Am turned 18 she pretty much stopped going altogether, I'm concerned that when TJ turns 18 the same will happen, because of the crap she's putting him though. I do hope he continues to see her, she's his Mom. That's pretty much what's been going on here.. I've been bored stiff not being able to be online all the time. Thanks, Jazaray __________________ A Plastered Dragon Original Limerick: There was a nice lassie named Jaz Many wished to have what she has, A delicate face, A soft warm embrace, And a whole lot of bedroom pizzazz.WeedIan: Jazaray is like MOTL's Mom. It sounds like you've got enough going on - let their "mom" worry about how often she wants to see her kids; there's no need for you to stress over it, too. Your kids don't need to subject themselves to emotional baggage for a woman who puts them through the ringer if they don't want to.

Glad to hear from you Jaz, I'll refrain from making any comments on the physical state of your car(s), don't wanna jynx you .I hope you and Tom get through this with relative ease and that a new job (opportunity) comes landing on your head. It would be cool seeing more of you here, since there are actually more 'older' members suddenly posting here again (MM, mm1983, Hilikus). Doesn't feel like a revival yet (we'll need Serrabanger for that) but it's not so bad really.

There is nothing particular that I want to say but I am in a very confused state of my life.I know flipping coin in the air is not a solution because both these choices are very dear to me.
