Back from holiday! Doing a tour of Scotland on a motorcycle is nothing short of fantastic!! They could improve on the roads and signs though, but nevertheless amazing. Definitely going back there.__________________

Just learned a coworker (one which I interacted with on almost a daily basis) was murdered last night. While certainly not affecting me directly, this is a new experience for me. After several strong drinks, I've determined I'm generally ill equipped to handle this sort of thing. They sure do a ****ty job in school preparing you for things like this. Thank you MOTL for being the place I can semi-anonymously share this.

 I don't deal well with anyone dying even if I didn't know them well. Whether it is a former classmate, a coworker, etc. Unfortunately I can't really offer any advice in how to deal with it better other than just focus on other things when possible.

Yeah I know but both my shrink and my psychiatrist found that I have ptsd since my high school due to the daily beating/insults/treats/saying that I should kill myself to make society better, all these for 5 years. Haven't done any self-harm since 2 weeks so I guess the meds are working a little bit.

I did think it was so strange that you don't see many kids or teenagers playing these days. Maybe it's only at a local level now? I just figured with the way Wizards found a way to make Standard somewhat affordable, there would be younger people trying to hop in at a competitive level.
