looking to pick up some legacy cards and wondering what a fair asking price would be on a set of signed english, non foil Stoneforge Mystics. Also, about how rare is this particular artists sig? I have only ever found Japanes foil alters on Ebay for a bunch more money then I want to drop. Thanks for any help! __________________ I am looking for signed legacy cards! Here is my want list

he's a new artist, just started doing things in the last few years. his sig wont command any premium, but finding a full signed set is not going to be super easy. better bet is to get a normal set and try to find him at a GP, or contact him and see if he might sign through the mail.__________________ "He fights you not because you have wronged him, but because you are there."<@Anusien> Pretty sure New Zealanders are the sheep shaggers <KIP_NZ> Anusien: I'm a kiwi and I've shagged a sheep <KIP_NZ> we kiwi's like our sheep

He signs cards through the mail as far as I remember for a fee. Just drop him a polite email and ask about it. Here's a picture of his signature if anyone wants to see it.

another question I have...Some artists say they do NOT sign through the mail on their web sites. How easy is it to change their mind if you are willing to pay? They are artists and I have no issues supporting them, but I am wondering if there is an un-said/told cost to this or if it just varies by artist.

if they're that explicit about it, your best bet is not to bother. if you send them cards with a $20, expect either a 'return to sender' stamp, or you just gave them some cards and $20.__________________ "He fights you not because you have wronged him, but because you are there."<@Anusien> Pretty sure New Zealanders are the sheep shaggers <KIP_NZ> Anusien: I'm a kiwi and I've shagged a sheep <KIP_NZ> we kiwi's like our sheep

I would obviously email them before sending. Just probing noob info from the masters. I wish there was a faq somewhere, lol.__________________ I am looking for signed legacy cards! Here is my want list

You might get some help at mtglibrarities but they tend to be pretty snooty there.

No we don't!There are several people there who have had extensive contacts with many artists. Most would have involved purchases of proofs or original pieces though, so don't be surprised if they don't know the answer to your specific question. Also try emailing Markers (username on this site). __________________ Always buying misprints. See my list for the best Alternate 4th buy prices in the world (bulk rares $3!)
