With the rise of Treasure Cruise in Modern and Legacy, GB based midrange decks seem to be on the decline. In addition, Dark Confidant hasn't been seeing much Legacy play lately. As such, it seems like his current price tag is based more on price memory than actual demand. Is it possible that we could see a price adjustment to reflect this change in demand, or is casual appeal/price memory enough to maintain its value? Thoughts?

Side note: I'm asking primarily because I have a set that I'm not using, and am thinking about putting them towards my 4th Volcanic Island given the success of the Bob Huang UR Delver deck in Legacy.

Get the dual land. Dark confidant is a great card, but it's not on the reserve list so it can see a reprint at any time. Volcanic Island or any dual land is a great investment. I built UR Delver and it's a lot of fun to play.

DC has been declining. I had a bunch listed and no interest whatsoever. I buylisted 6 of them last week for credit to CK for 81.90 each (luckily)

slightly off topic but i wonder about snapcaster mage as well. I feel like they are at a ceiling. Foils and non foils have been stagnant it seems.

I remember Not to long ago i posted about a Foil snap vs Gaea's cradle. Most ppl chose foil snap.

Im having trouble selling foil snaps at 110. Cradles go for 135 quick sale.

This is out of a fear of reprint in MM2 and given the size of innistrad it could knock this guy back down.

In terms of DC I would snap trade them for a volcanic although you'd be hard pressed to find someone who would do that (perhaps buylist?)

Thanks for the feedback everyone! Not sure I could find someone to make the trade, and have been thinking about buylisting the DCs. Would take a hit on the current value, but would lock in value with the dual. Seems like a much safer bet, plus I would actually play with it.
