I'll be editing and publishing this sometime soon, but I'm still looking for more entries. Remember, it's supposed to be a trading dictionary, so try to focus the terms in that direction.

Arena: The Arena league, or cards issued through the Arena league (6x9's, Saga foils, etc)

GURU: A Wizards of the Coast program to encourage people to teach Magic. Also, the 5 lands you get free when you sign up for the GURU program

APAC: Asian Pacific lands

Euro: European lands

Toploader (maybe this should be in there): plastic sleeve to put a card in for protection

Card condom: soft sleeve/toploader, used for cards that are played with

Proxy: fake card, usually of a very expensive card (Lotus, etc). Good to play with if you don't have the real card or don't want to damage your real card

Misprint: any variety card error as a result of the printing/cutting process

Foils: premium cards first introduced in Legacy (foil stamp on a regular card). Worth more money than the regular version of the card.

Pre-release: cards issued with a foil stamp marking the release of a new set of cards (1 for each set starting with Tempest I think)

Oversize: 6" x 9" cards, or Vanguard cards

Up: update (also, savage ploy to put your post at the top of the list )

Medium Scrye: median value of all sampled cards, published by Scrye.

Scrye: magazine that includes price guides for CCG's (including Magic)

InQuest: same

Top Deck: same (formerly Duelist)

Leshrac, have you done any more work with this yet? If not, I'll see what I can do about condensing all this info into one document.

BoneShredder - Actually I've been very busy the last few weeks and haven't had any time for this particular project. Any help removing the duplicate and irrelevant entries would be appreciated. You don't have to format the text or anything, just a plain text file with the entries in alphabetical order would be great.

Cool beans; I'll get on it ASAP. One more thing-do you happen to have a copy of the original "trading dictionary" post that was in here a few months before this one? If you do, can you get me the URL or a copy of the text of it?
