One of the perks of living 15 min from Hollywood and being connected to the music biz you do get to meet some of these people: I have met: Elton John, Trey Parker, and Matt Stone (Same time, dad was working on "Wake Up Wendy" for the South park album) Madonna (I have had conversations with her on 3 seperate occasions.) Shaquille O'Neal Eminem Ludacris Billy Joe Armstrong Tim Armstrong Bruce Willis John Travolta Mario Batali Arnold Schwarzenegger(years before he became the governator) Bono Danzig Johnny Cash (I don't remember this unfortunately, I was 5) Ozzy Osborne Kathy Griffin and many others.Edit: I would also like to meet Angelina Jolie but I like my kidneys were they are thank you.

But what's the point in having a signature or a handshake???mah....
Makes for a great story... I was invited to hang out with gravity kills at a pizza place after a festival they did. I have previously hung out with them after some shows at the local club and shot the breeze talking about stuff with them. So I see Jeff behind the security line backstage, he recognizes me and waves me through. He later introduces me to the guys from Everclear. We hang out and look at the video footage everclear is planning on putting out on one of their videos later. He was even cool about getting my friend who was with me backstage. Or their was the time I won the chance to interview The Offspring at warped tour for a radio station. Or time I met Ice T, Body count, Public Enemy, Naughty by Nature, Counting Crowes, Crash test Dummies, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Soup Dragons, 311, Foo Fighters, and so on in that vien. I have the autograph collection to prove it. No one believes these outlandish stories without the autograph. I just like learning about them if they are willing to share interesting stories. On the off chance they are busy, I also respect that.

Ahh celeberties..Before working for Verizon, i built tennis courts for the rich and famous in Mass. I have been to the houses of... Ex-New England Patriot QB - Was there for 2 weeks building his tennis court, got to play 1-on-1 Basketball with him, fantastic person, witha very lovely wife. Red Sox Pitcher Curt Schilling - Actually bought the house of Drew Bledsoe, been there on 5 different occasions for tennis court mantainence, knows me by name. And as of 2005 i was in his personal contacts on his cell.
Boston Celtics GM and former player Danny Ainge, met him at Mcdonalds, talked him into a Basketball Court, Spent 3 days working at his house.
New England Patriots Owner Robert Kraft, built the tennis court at both of his homes, knows me on a first name basis, ran into him at the Lincoln Dogtrack in Rhode Island, was with Bill Parcells. Bought me a drink introduced me to Bill and made my night.
Actor and overall nice guy Ted Danson, my best time..EVER..while building tennis courts.
Went to Nantucket (rich island for those who dont know) to start a Tennis Court, back in June 2005. Called up to make sure everything was ready, it was so we headed towards the house (3 of us in my crew), turns out this was the summer house of Ted Danson, he gave us the grand tour of his property. After getting to know us, he offered us to stay at his house for the rest of the week. We gladly accepted. Every night we got a limo with him to dinner. From dinner we went out to the local townie bar (The Chickenbox for anyone familiar with the island) for some drinking.
Ted did not pay for anything he asked for, he is well known on the island. We got invited to the Annual Nantucket Film Festival after party (which is why he was there) Overall a great time, Sadly the only celebs i have met since working for Verizon have been either Strippers or Jazaray. Shawn~

Aww man... Stalker dude is from Aurora! That's like a disgrace to Wayne's World fans everywhere. I think they were in IL... maybe not. Whatever just go with it.LOL... Ryan you weren't kidding about this being hilarious. Led to someone getting banned that's pretty HC. As for celebs, I just uhh... well Central New York is full of celebs. Yeah I can't say I met any, but I can't say that I've tried either.
I do claim to have seen Orlando Hernandez, former Yanks pitcher in the Atlanta airport one day. Other than that though.... Oh wait, I did meet local celeb "OurBenefactors" at the 10th release. So ha! As far as wanting to meet celebs. I kind of would like to meet Jeff Weaver... former yanks enigma/pitcher, as well as a few of my favorite bands. Not going to happen around here though. We just got very mediocre modern rock shows. *le sigh*

That's pretty awesome that ya met 311. They were pretty much my favorite band for awhile. Were they cool?

Ronnie Dio while at concert Steve Harris while at concert Justin hayward after concert and in the early 1980's where my parents took me to a Hungarian church sponsored picnic I was introduced to Eva Gabor one year and Gene Simmons the next year. I was still too young to realize who they were.
My mom, when she immigrated to the States, says she took care of one of Tolstoy's close relatives, his granddaughter I believe, in a private Russian nursing home which I think she said was in New Jersey. __________________ The Goddess of Magic MOTL Queen 2006D≡P≡CH≡ MOD≡ "The tin man says I'm doing fine" *Silver Jewelry*New/Returning players guide to Magic*

Boy, I'm glad I checked all the forum options before posting my decklist, lol. Anyways, after reading the post (and the 3 pages of posts afterwards), I must admit this guy seems rather... odd, to say the least.Losing a kidney just to meet someone is rather extreme... and creepy. My question for you all though, is... how is he a stalker really? It's not like he knows where she lives, phone number, email address, ect. And from what his post said, he's not hiding out in her bush. Yes, like I said, he is odd, to say the least, however I wouldn't go as far as saying he's a stalker. I mean, I would call those paparatzi (can't even spell it right, sorry) people borderline stalkers... what's their excuse? It's their job? Meh. All I'm saying is... poor guy shouldn't have gotten a ban just for saying something extreme (which btw I don't think he'd REALLY do it anyways). Just my .02 cents. Off to get deck help! Edit for typos : (.

I dunno. Making a new account and commenting on your own thread as if you weren't the same person is pretty stalkerish, no? __________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! All your Gruul Nodorogs are belong to me. I have to admit, I have no idea what you're talking about. Can you prove I'm this guy, or are you just speaking out of your behind? Edit: I simply chose to post here because it seemed interesting. I just signed up merely for deck help : ).

Edit: I think the funniest part of his post was when he said he was off to get deck help. LOL, who the hell comes to MOTL for deck help?

Suffice to say, yeah, we have plenty of proof. Interesting how you claim to have signed up for deck help, but this is the only thread you've decided to post on, too. There's plenty of other proof, though, so don't play dumb. __________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! All your Gruul Nodorogs are belong to me. Trade them to me, please! How not to get banned from MOTL: 1) Don't rip people 2) Don't troll incessantly. 3) Don't remake your account after being banned once, go to the thread that got you banned and white knight for yourself. That is all. __________________ MOTL's answer to Billy Crystal. He's old enough to know what's right, but young enough not to choose it. I disagree. For creepiness factor, yes, for sheer stupidity, no. Stronghold thread is in a league of it's own.
