Sadly, the truth isn't nearly as exciting as the circumstances suggest. When I was at the Naval Academy, it was tradition for the various units to have "recon missions". Ours was to hang a sheet poster along the marching route that we would be taking to the next day's football game. Of course, just going out and hanging it wouldn't be all that team-building, so these missions are done at night. In full camoflauge, face paint, etc. The goal is to sneak out of the barracks, off the base, into town, and get the poster up without being seen. As we headed down the road, we were covered with a row of trees and bushes between us and the road. Unfortunately, the building we passed had a security guard on the 3rd floor who happened to spy us and call the police. Due to previous run-ins with the local law enforcement from other groups, the entire brigade had been ordered to always follow all commands from the police rather than the old school method of fleeing the scene and making sure you weren't caught. Apparently there was some concern that a Midshipman was going to eventually be shot by a police officer who didn't realize they were involved in a prank and not an actual crime. Shortly after we got spotted, a police car pulled up and ordered us all on the ground, they had us all empty our pockets and explain ourselves, then let us go on with our business, with directions to not be sneaking around anymore, just get there, put up the poster and go back to bed. __________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! All your Gruul Nodorogs are belong to me. Bleh, they need to to military training, Halo Spartan style.
If it can't potentially kill you, you're not doing it right.

What's your favorite food? Favorite vacation destination. Why? When are you going to retire? Do you wish I'd play more magic? Out of all of your hobbies.....and there are many, which one is your favorite? Which one of the animals is your favorite? That's all I can think of.

Tacos. Definitely tacos. A favorite implies that I've been there before, so Washington D.C. because there is so much fascinating stuff there. The amount of history packed into a small area is amazing. Assuming nothing major changes, I have another 27 years until retirement. That's a bit depressing, now that I think about it. Sometimes it would be nice to have you there to help take down some people a peg. Not sure that it's really a hobby, but ham radio is probably one of the things I most enjoy. I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that Penny and Merlin would be mad at me.

I don't honestly know. I think when she got her new job, we're pretty close to making the same amount now. __________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! All your Gruul Nodorogs are belong to me. Trade them to me, please! Report rules violations. Remember the Auctions Board!

What are your thoughts on enchiladas, quesadillas, burritos, fajitas, taquitos, and every other combination of meat, beans, cheese, rice, lettuce, sour cream, and tortilla? __________________ "I never got any respect at all. 1. Do you drink at all? If so, what and how much of it in a session?2. Are you an "energy-drink guy" at all? If so, what's your fave? 3. Do you believe that the 80's and 90's put out better movies than those from the 2000's? 4. Do you, or will you ever play KanJam? 5. Not a question but just wanted to offer condolences from the previous unfortunate incident that occurred in your life. I have not dealt with that yet and I cannot imagine the pain one would feel. Once again my sincere condolences.

I got suspended for the last day of school once for getting punched in the eye. Does that count?

Since they are all, in fact, the same food, just differently arranged, I am a fan of them all.

I'm not much of an alcohol drinker these days. Back when I was in the Marines, I was known to throw a few back. Unluckily for me, the day after my 21st birthday, we had a conference up in LA that I had to attend, so I still got to partake in the night of heavy drinking, but missed the "you get the day after your 21st off to recover" part. Rough times. These days, I might have a drink with dinner if we're out somewhere nice, or if I've had a long day I might put a little something in my drink, but that's about it. Well, I just bought 2 cases of Monster Khaos, so I think that speaks for itself. It depends on what you're basing it off of. Special effects back then weren't particularly great compared to today, but at the time, we all thought they were amazing. Quality is fairly subjective, and I think looking back we tend to only recall the best (or the worst) of them, yet we have a better feel for the overall amount of dreck put out today, so it's difficult to really compare. My general theory is that there are always some good movies and some stinkers for each generation, and none is particularly worse or better than others, it just might seem that way due to shifts in culture. I had to Google KanJam just to know what it was. I'm not exactly an athletic guy these days, so I doubt that I will ever play. I appreciate your thoughts. __________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! All your Gruul Nodorogs are belong to me. Trade them to me, please! Report rules violations. Which of the six player psychographics do you identify with, and to what degree for each (for example, saying you're a Melvin-Dave Spike, 50% spike 50% Dave)__________________ "I never got any respect at all. My family moved a lot when I was a kid, but I always found them." -- Rodney Dangerfield

Honestly, I'm too lazy to look them up to even figure that out. I'm generally pretty casual, only really want to win against a couple specific people because they're cocky and poor sports.

I was in from '96 until '99 when I got a medical discharge. I spent all but about 4 months of my career at MCRD San Diego. I went to basic there, then Pendleton for Combat Training, Quantico for programming school, then right back to San Diego. I haven't quite managed to corner the market on them yet. If I get serious about trying to collect them again, then they might gain some value. Okay, last chance for follow-up questions. I'll close this in about half an hour and start the next one.
