I do most of this stuff, but for my really big money cards I store playsets in front/back/front/back order to minimize any chance of warping. This works surprisingly well with foils in a sleeve inside a binder.

I have all of my Legacy cards sleeved up (over 1000) in generic Black Ultra-Pro sleeves, then kept in two long boxes. Whenever I want to test a deck, I pull the cards, shuffle up and play. (The sleeves aren't really good for a tournament, but are fine for testing due to nicks and fingernail marks)

All tourny cards (sleeved) are kept in a separate folder so that I don't have to touch the collection.

There is nothing I hate more than a gap in the collection That's why I only have 1 deck (Highlander) I play.
