How do you guys store cards worth 5+ dollars that you know you aren't using now but will use (think like legacy/vintage staples). Duals/Fetches that sort of thing. I have a binder but I think it is warping my cards from their being a couple blank pages in there. Any other ideas?

Cards (max 4) inside a penny sleeve inside 9-pocket pages. I do that for my collection and it works.

i put all my unused legacy staples in a sleeve, then a toploader and stuff them in a box.

For duals/fetches and the like what do you do?

I put them upside down in a sleeve then put them into the page in the book.

I recently got one of those Monster Binders (expensive, but the best protection for binders out there). I keep all of my Vintage stuff, even the commons/uncommons, there for easy access and storage. Considering I have alot of cards in the $50+ range, the investment of $25-30 was well worth it.__________________ MOTL's Most Likely to Play in the Pro Tour - Three Years Running for 2007, 2008, and 2009 (My Nationals) Co-Founder of Long Island's Newest Vintage Team - Team of Towers Cracking the Top 100 Ref Count - 4/1/10 (Currently #92)

I've heard of these, can you explain what makes it worth it? I'm not patronizing here, I really want to know.

exactly the same as my other stuff. my box has cards like mishra's workshop all the way down to pithing needle. they all just sit in the box until they get used.

Cards never slip out and the binder material is flexible and tough, making it last for a long time despite abuse. __________________ Tha Gunslinga: People are moron. ----------------- nderdog: Why do I have a feeling that people wouldn't be so interested in checking out new hobbies if it didn't involve boobies? ----------------- Co-Champion - 2009 MOTL Fantasy Football 2nd Place - 2003 MOTL Fantasy Football

I have 2 long boxes, one for legacy one for standard. I use the japanese perfect fit sleeves...just sleeve up the card and drop it in the box.

Exactly what Master Wolf said. Plus, you can easily hold 4 cards in a slot without the sleeve strecthing itself out. __________________ MOTL's Most Likely to Play in the Pro Tour - Three Years Running for 2007, 2008, and 2009 (My Nationals) Co-Founder of Long Island's Newest Vintage Team - Team of Towers Cracking the Top 100 Ref Count - 4/1/10 (Currently #92)

This. I keep everything together by rarity, then color, then set, regardless of how good or valuable it is, so I've got Berserks right next to Camouflages. If I need it, I know where it is, rather than have to look through 37 binders before I find it.

First, each card into a perfect sized sleeve, and then, playsets in a penny sleeve. It fits perfectly, and it's easy to go trough, easy to rearrange.

I usually take higher end cards Power, Duals, FoWs etc. and put them upside down in perfect fit sleeves and then put them in those little 4 pocket books. Common and uncommon playables I put playsets together in penny sleeves and toss them in a box. Standard stuff under $10 just go in binders.

I'm glad I ran across this post, do you think you could just take some pics of your monster binders with your MTG cards inside the sleeves? All the reviews seem to be with yugioh cards

wait, you can hold more than 1 card in a monster binder sleeve? i talked with a vendor and they recommended not to, and that's what deterred me from buying one

I've been doing playsets since the very beginning and so has everyone I know who has one.

I got mine at the local shop. I think I paid $30 for mine, but was before they starting selling at retail stores for slightly less.
