I have no idea but I just want to say that you should just enjoy the tour in Shanghai rather than looking for a place to play magic cause you can do that when you're back home. Not to mention that 95% of the stuff sold in China are fake.

I dunno about that, I'd like to see what a card shop in another culture is like, sounds like a good way to meet people who in turn could show you more interesting things in the city you may not see wandering around yourself.

Having literally returned from a 10 day trip to Shanghai about a week ago, I can STRONGLY recommend against playing magic there. For starters, you really should be enjoying the city, not playing magic, as mtglover recommended. Also, expecting to meet someone in a card shop is not. Likely. Generally, English is either not spoken or spoken very very poorly.

Magic is not the main reason I am here. Its just something id like to look into if I get a chance and its not out of the way.I'm simply looking to pick up some stuff that may potentially be cheaper here. Also, language barrier is not a concern.

I did a search for shops in Shanghai on the mothership the other day because I am here also, although not looking to go to a shop, but was just curious.I saw 3 or 4 that came up, and I believe most of them were in the Bund area of Shanghai (old British area iirc). Check on the mothership (magicthegathering.com) to see the exact locations, just type in Shanghai as your location when looking. __________________ "He knew suddenly that he was not going to escape. I did that, but the addresses returned appear to be those in Taiwan, or so a friend says. So the locator is kind of broken I think. Also, I did that when I was in Taiwan, but of the stores returned some were no longer selling mtg.
