While everyone prefers to buy the cheapest they can possibly buy an item for, MSRP is nothing more than a suggested price for a product. NOT a set in stone price. That being said, If wally world is selling them at $19.99, i'll gladly purchase a few, or many

So far no luck at Target or Walmart, they didn't get them yet, my gaming store has 1 reserved for me though, they are selling at 20, limit 1.

distributors will pull this crap occasionally so they don't get stuck w/ product. Its a really shady practice imo. I grabbed 6 of the 8 EvT our walmart had, friends bought 5 from me within a few minutes of me taking them to our draft, I had to keep them away from my copy or that would have been gone, heh.

Good luck on that. I went to one of my local gaming stores that goes through an average of 100 boxes or more on the weekend of the release of a new set. (between them opening about 40 and selling easily that if not more). Never mind the 100 or more fat packs that they probably go through. And he told me that he was not able to get any FTV because he "didn't hold tournaments AT his store". He supports one of the guys who runs tourneys at one of the 2 Universities in town, and yet was not able to get any because he didn't have table space in his store. At least that was what he got told. He didn't get them last year either. Only got them on the first year and he had such a demand for them that he put everyones name in a draw for the 16 he got and if you won, then you could buy it and they only made you pay MSRP. Then again maybe Wizards policy is different for stores in the States than it is for us in Canada. Our local store that does hold tournaments, I think got either four or eight and is selling them for $80 each. And Wizards probably wonders why there is a stampede every morning of GenCon..... __________________ "Poole" Art Sage Owl count: 227 with 74 Signed and 6 Proofs Also trading for:Extinctions and IA/CS STP's Non Magic: Civillization (SNES), Old Hot Wheels Cars, Stargate SG1/SGA Figurines

Understandably, you're confused. The main topic is about FTV sets, but the sub-discussion we've been having has been about the Elspeth vs. Tezzeret Duel Decks. I should have access to FTV sets next time they come out, as I understand they're available to Core level stores, but the EvT sets are widely sold to retail stores. __________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! All your Gruul Nodorogs are belong to me.
