hi guys

I recently purchased the Dual Decks phyrexia and the coalition.

Do you know if all the Dual Decks can be played against the other ones? like would phyrexia vs gobins or jace vs the coalition work, or would the POWER levels be off?

I've only played Tezzeret vs. Elspeth a couple of games, but through conversation I've come to believe that the dual decks aren't all that balanced against each other (e.g. Jace owns Chandra). If they're not necessarily balanced to each other, then I'd suggest they can't all be balanced. However, it honestly seems like the answer to your question is the following:

Try it and find out for yourself.

We've been force fed all the best decklists by scg and tcg and whomever els-- and that's fine-- but wouldn't you like to discover on your own how these decks fare against each other? Make a night out of it with a few friends, and come to your own conclusions. If you think that would be a waste of time, then the answer to your question is irrelevant anyway.

The only Dual deck I'd buy is Underground Sea vs Tundra.

Chandra v Jace is the only Duel Deck pair that I've played several games with and I find it to be balanced.

We should all consider not giving scrum so much **** for that thread anymore. At least he's contributing in a positive manner to the boards, unlike Random-miser.
