Topic: my best draft ever!!!

so im like a month into this game and i had like 4th draft and yesterday i opened up my 2nd pack and saw it was a rare then saw there was a foil and seen it being foil baneslayer i put that card down soooo fast lol and for the first time i went 3.0 i was soooo happy i splashed 3 colors for the first time i was preety proud of myself since i played really good players the guy was like wow i never went 2.1 before loltoday i opened my first pack for draft and bam! grave titan i was like wow then 2nd pack i opened was inferno titan i was like wow what luck is on my side lol i did my 2nd time splashing 3 colors and went 2.1 i was like wow maybe im actually getting good at magic lol just wanted to share this with the community

opening bombs doesn't make you good at magic, winning with subpar cards that work together well does
Edit: congrats on the score tho always good to get a win and some gg cards while at it.

yeah people drafted some crazy cards like the stampede card and a whole buch still im happy im doing much better the store owes me 4 packs as well which i will get next week so should be fun

that wasnt my happyiest moment ever going 3.0 was my happyiest moment ever and pulling the foil baneslayer plus it was my first time using three colors then i used 3 colors again on the next draft so i think im getting better at making decks at least cant bring me down

Good for you! It's always nice to win, especially pulling good cards AND winning! I bought 2 packs of Ravnica on my birthday, a few years back, hoping to get an Overgrown Tomb. I cracked a foil one... was awesome... will never forget how awesome it was

lol out of buying packs i bought a whole bunch of packs from the local comic shop and pulled big jace i was like woah!!! its so hard to get a 2nd one now lol

Punctuation is useful in communicating with others, whoever they might be, and especially if you're going to create a thread to speak to many people. Contrary to popular thought, using skills you learn while you're in school outside of school is a good thing. Teachers aren't spending time teaching you these things for their health or to just to pass their classes.__________________

Have the best rares does not always mean having the best deck. During Rise of the Eldrazi I did a draft and opened an Emrakul which is not always a card you want to put in your deck being 15 to cast. I ended up playing it in the deck and hard casted it twice during the tournament. My other rares weren't really high dollar rares but needless to say still bombs for limited, a Sphinx of Magosi and a Consuming Vapors.
