Like the title says. I need to sleeve my cube (around 600 cards or so). What is the most durable sleeve that doesn't get a scuffed face in 2 drafts? Also, Is it worth it to get perfect fits to protect my cube if there are lots of valuables?

I used KMC Super Purples (100 packs) + KMC Perfect FitsMy KMC sleeves are bit slippery, so i would recommend getting the matte ones if u go KMC route. I am sure others will recommend D Shields and UltraPro Blacks. Perfect fits are fine, just that it creates air pockets beween the pf and the outer sleeve for me. have to air them out from time to time.

I do KMC matte dark blues and KMC perfect fits. I like the little additional protection the perfects give and the matte color makes the cube stay looking sharp. Sometimes it can be a pain to fit the perfects in because of air, but in general it sleeves relatively quickly.

I've used KMC matte black exactly once. After a single PTQ the sleeves were garbage and I threw them out.I have my cube sleeves in Raven Black ultra pro. Basically any newer ultra pro w/ a matte finish is fine. When I re-sleeve I'll look into perfect fits. With the value of my cube creeping up on the value of the rest of my collection, it seems like an obvious thing to do.

I use Dragon Shield - Blue. I love Dragon Shield and have never had an issue with bad batch, durability, or anything else. They are usually more expensive than the rest and harder to find now that a lot of American distributor's no longer carry them. You can still get them on Ebay, but for something as big as a cube I'd probably go a cheaper route.

I use black ultra pro ones with a textured back and some shiny dot patterns on the back. Fantastic sleeves and great shuffling.

I do the same thing. They are excellent sleeves, occasional tear, but nothing big. The sleeves will dull a bit after shuffling with them for a few games and can scratch on the back. KMC does an excellent job with the cut of their sleeves, unlike other brands, ive never had uneven sleeve height between different packs.

Thanks all, but I just got a case of Ultra Pro Matte black from my local store for 30 dollars! So i don't get any uneven sized sleeves. Hope they work well

only problem you might run into is getting the same color again later down the road. Black isn't always the same from one batch to the next.

I use KMC Matte Dark Blue for my cube as well. I thought about perfect fits but my cube isn't powered yet, when these sleeves wear out I will probably get the perfects (and power lol)Before spending the money on these I tried two different cheap brands of sleeves; don't make this mistake. Cheap sleeves won't work well...I don't remember brand names but they were terrible and I ended up giving the sleeves to casual players who wanted them.

Ditto. I tried the rout of cheap sleeves when my cube was mostly proxies. I got 1500 for $45 but they were different sizes and colors and had streaks. I've upgraded to KMC matte black and soon will be going the perfect fit route but I also need to get paid a bit more first, lol. But now that the cube is starting to get a lot foils and such, it needs an upgrade to the sleeves. Do not get cheap sleeves fr your cube. Your players will notice an probably make fun of you. Haha.
