Hey everyone. I need some help.

Over my years of playing magic, I have never been a fan of red cards. I find direct damage a little boring and most of their creatures to be far over priced (mana wise).

I have since began a quest to make a mono-red deck just to spite myself! LOL However...I find myself having a hard time thinking of really GOOD red cards to build from and thought you folks could help.

Please copy paste previous cards listed so we keep a clean and complete list via the last person to post.

PLEASE NO DIRECT DAMAGE CARDS

I'm not sure what you're going for really, but Goblin Guide, Hellspark Elemental and Hell's Thunder are good creatures.

If you don't want to use burn but still want to be able to kill creatures, you could use:

Aftershock
Cinder Cloud
Fissure
Lava Flow
Reign of Chaos

Note that none of these are very good (Fissure is probably the best) but they'll get the job done if you don't want to use burn.

Bloodbraid elf is the best red creature ever printed.

Koth would be the next best non instant/sorcery card.

Broodbraid Elf is certainly killer but im looking at making a mono-red deck.
