Looks like its time for a new one.Glissa looks like she could be good, can't think of any good cheap artifacts that would be reusable every turn. But she stills seems cool.

In D&D elves live around 300 years or so. This set's release day is the same day as the first Indy SCG 5k of the year next year. I am nervous about that, espec the implications for legacy...

"living as long as a thousand years" Seems a lot longer according to the D&D wiki. So it could easily be a long time into the future, so no Slobad which is unfortunate as he was more interesting than Glissa ever was. Or she could just be reanimated, though the title seems to state against that.
Edit: But remember what they did to Eladamri's daughter. It's not always that they choose to turn Phyrexian, but again, because of the "the Traitor" it seems in this case it is. __________________ Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore"

This, funnily enough. Ordinarily I loathe goblins (because they're in every single frigging set), but Slobad I liked. Certainly more interesting than Glissa. Of course I liked Bosh the most, so he naturally had to go and die at the end of Darksteel __________________ (Humans) are stubborn, self-destructive conformists. Is there a way i can just give cards away on MTGO? I just joined the other day and use it primarily as a way to kill time drafting (which i am apparently terrible at) I just don't like all the un/commons filling up my screen. Seems so untidy

I'll take them if you don't want them - my MTGO user name is TirelessTribe. If you don't want to give them to me, you could make an ad in the classifieds or check more heavily trafficked forums like MTGS or the official WotC forums. There's usually a few people asking around for handouts. __________________ send ref checks, paypal payment or any questions to the email in my profile!

I believe there are bots buying bulk un/commons on MTGO. I currently see a bot (Lucky1-6) offering 1 tix for 24-65 uncommons and 1 tix for 75-300 commons. Opened Carnifex Demon, Elspeth, Strata Scythe and Wurmcoil Engine in a sealed DE but only went 2-2. Mana hosed in game 3 and bombs got Arrested in match 4, tragic.

Tix = Event Ticket = MTGO currency. 1 tix costs $1 to purchase from the store, you would fetch $0.92-$0.98 if you were reselling them for actual cash.

It's kinda hard to get screwed with signals in this format unless you are drafting poison. Most of the decks I play have 12-16 artifacts and then some good colored spells accordingly. Might need to look at things if you are missing up like 8 picks in a whole draft.. For unloading c/u, I use ABU. You give them your information and over night they clean it out and put tix on your acct. They are a major company so I trust them and have done this twice so far.

Looking to build an infect deck for fun, I've got some christmas money at my disposal. Aside from a few choice singles, would I be better off getting 2 of the g/b infect starter or 1 g/b, 1 u/b as a starting point? I'm not sure whether id be better off buying 2 of the g/b ones and going all-in aggro or mix it up and keep some late-game support with proliferate.__________________ (Humans) are stubborn, self-destructive conformists. if you're taking it to FNM, just focus on getting the singles that you need. I wouldn't even buy the starters, just find someone who will hook you up with the creatures you need.
