• Prizes – Every player will a foil promo Thopter Assembly card! All booster pack prizes will be booster packs, and boosters will be paid out in the following fashion:

* 4-0: 7 packs
* 3-0-1: 5 packs

Commander 1v1 Tournament

When: Saturday, February 12th, 12 noon SHARP.

Entry fee: $15

Format: Commander/EDH (modified ban list and rules; see below), Swiss 1v1 rounds with cutoff to top 8

ONE HUNDRED PERCENT of the entries will go into the prize pool! The following example is based on a 24 player turnout, and will scale UP or DOWN accordingly based on actual turnout:

1st - 70 CC/15 Store Credit
2nd - 50 CC/15 Store Credit
3rd/4th - 30 CC/15 Store Credit
5th - 8th - 30 Store Credit

CC (Commander Credits) are currency that can be used to purchase cards from our Commander prize binder. This includes plenty of valuable staple cards such as revised Dual Lands, Force of Will, Tarmogoyf, Wasteland, and more! Feel free to spend whatever you win, or save it for later to pick up some of the more expensive cards. To be absolutely clear about their worth, CCs are basically a dollar amount to be spent only inside the prize binder.

Store Credit is exactly what it says it is; credit to be spent in Baseball Cards of Rhode Island. These credits and CCs are NOT INTERCHANGEABLE, and neither may be used to enter future events.

Rules Modifications:

- Players start out with 30 life.

Registration begins at 10:00 AM and ends at 12:45 PM. Round 1 will begin around 1:00 PM.

Prizes will be determined by attendance but a box and 3 Byes for GP Providence are guaranteed for 1st, however, this will easily have the biggest prize payout we have ever done. All prize money that comes in will be given back in prizes!

Drafts will occur afterwards.

This place is behind a giant mall. There is a buffalo wild wings right next door and Primanti bros a block away. A bank around the corner, and the mall has a billion things to eat.

May 6th - 8th, 2011 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center Oaks, Pa.

Events will include Magic, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, plus many board game offerings such as Risk and Settlers of Catan. There will also be video game tournaments ranging from classics like Mario Brothers and Pacman, to current favorites like Call of Duty.

We will also be welcoming our very special guest Chase Masterson, Leeta on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine! Chase will be appearing all three days of the convention to sign autographs, and be taking the stage Saturday & Sunday to answer your questions and give her unique outllook on being voted Star Treks favorite alien.
