Topic: what should I do with these worldwake packs?

Today I stopped by my local Modell store and found out that they have 14 worldwake packs hidden behind m10 packs for $3.99 each. I thought that it was a good deal so I bought all of it for around $58.00 dollars. I opened 5 packs and got a Jace, so what should I do with the rest of the packs? Should I just open them, trade or sell them? These packs are individually sealed for retail stores so I'm not sure if they're from the same box or not.

Each chance you've got about a 1/10 chance of pulling a card that is worth more than the $3.99. You've got about a 1/10-2/10 chance of breaking even, which leaves you with a 7/10 chance of pulling a crap rare. 2% chance of pulling Jace, which would essentially "pay out" 20:1. Plus, it's just fun cracking packs. Worldwake doesn't seem like a bad set to crack packs of, with Jace in there, Stoneforge, the manlands, Avenger, etc. I'd say open the rest.

You already made your money by opening a Jace so why does it really matter?Open them get whatever. __________________

1 novablast wurm

1 joraga warcaller
1 quest for ula's temple
1 stirring wildwood
1 talus paladin
1 strength of the tajuru
1 chain reaction
4 death's shadow (why god!!!)
other notable stuff:
2 tectonic edge
1 everflowing chalice
1 foil anowon, the ruin sage
1 foil pulse tracker
1 foil dread statuary
1 foil quicksand
1 foil vastwood zendikon

Congrats you won the Jace lottery. I would have held onto the packs and traded them after the Jace, but it doesn't matter at this point. Or drafted them__________________

I'm a bit torn on what to do as well. I have a sealed box lying around the house. Want to crack it all but have a feeling it'll be worth a decent amount later down the road. My luck with packs isn't the best, eh.I've gotten a few solid offers on the box. From 90-250 for it. Wanted to take the 250 but I can't find a box for less than that anywhere, so meh.

I'd take 250 on the box if i were you. They're a bit hyper inflated right now.

$250 is insane. Take it. They typically end on ebay for $180ish.

No I completely agree 250 is stupid high. But I havn't seen ANY worldwake ANYWHERE in my area since I found my box. Is this going to go up as time goes on, or should I just dump it? The guy is still interested so it wouldn't be hard to move. Guess I could just buy another box for around 150-180 online... Depending where I find it.

This, even getting a foil Jace would not fetch you 250.
Anyway, to the OP, you probably should have stopped after the Jace.

So, I have yet to decide on the selling of my box or not, however since today is Sunday (every sunday I go to all the local stores, searching for WWK) I went out and found 2 WWK fatpacks. Proceeded to say screw it, cracked the 16 packs, and won the Jace lottery.Unfortunately, now I have the deep desire to complete the set. However at 90-100 a pop, I don't think I can make myself do it. The 250 still looks good. Will let you dudes know what I do  .
