I happened to get extremely lucky this weekend.Went to a gaming convention over Presidents day weekend and scored an incredible binder for $120. I kid you not, but the prices were reflective of 1995/1996 at the gaming convention flea market - Dual lands for $5 (16 of them - 4 UL - one Underground sea UL and 2 Revised) and a mox emerald for $30. Most of the cards were in EX+ or better. There was about 30-40 Beta land as well among other cards in the binder. Anyone else have any interesting finds this year they want to share?

RV - Sol Ring Tropical Island Demonic Tutor 2x STP other stuff...5 US cents, each. Some random COMIC shop up in Cystal, MN, way back of the store just had random boxes of magic cards; pokemon, etc..shop was a Comic (not card) shop. I spent a good two hours going through each card they had, spent a grand total of about $12; and came away with a few hundred dollars in everything from $1-2 dollar cards, all the way up to the stuff listed above. My guess is, someone just gave them their old "collection" and they didn't care about card games as much as they cared about comics and just put them all in the bulk box for 5 cents each.

About 4 years ago the owner of a local card store was getting out of the collectibles business and put thousands of cards into boxes for people to go through and pull cards out to purchase. It didn't matter what the card was and how much it was worth. Any rare was sold for .25, uncommons were sold for .05, and commons were sold for .01 each. Everything was found from a Beta Word of Command and multiple Sea Drakes to Swords to Plowshares and Lightning Bolts. I believe no dual lands were found when this happened. I bought a couple hundred dollars worth of cards for $15 that day, mostly commons and uncommons.

I once traded a taste of vanilla ice cream for a taste of strawberry ice cream. That was pretty sweet. I know, I know, I'll try to find pics...

Whatever, dude. Next thing you know you will be telling us you made this trade on top of Scarlet Johansen's rack, going from left to right and back again. Come back after you have done this with Conley Woods and then we'll talk!
