I bought a collection and some of the cards are from 4th edition and unlimited and also some other sets I am not sure of.Does anyone know a good site that shows a more detailed description of cards so I can find what sets some of these cards are from? Since obviously some of the older sets have no symbol of the card set? Thanks

http://magiccards.info/ is a good site.4th is white bordered and has a copyright date of 1995 Revised is white bordered and has no copyright date. 5th Edition has a 1997 copyright date Alpha is black-bordered and has very curved corners and no copyright date Beta is black bordered and has regular corners and no copyright date Unlimited is white bordered, has no copyright date, has a "beveled" outer border and the color of the cards are considerably richer than Revised. You can check out the official Wizards site too.

Sounds like Beta. magiccards.info shows it being from 5th, 4th, unlimited-auflage, and limited-auflage. Whatever auflage means. There's only one unlimited and one limited, so i assume the more recent.I know some (all probably) sets are printed in foreign languages later than their english counterparts, so i wouldn't be surprised if they had also decided to add in the copyright date (and by '94 they did start adding dates). Someone with beta german cards would know better. __________________ If you can make/print proxies, i will trade for them. Also looking for Microprose MTG computer game. Will trade for that or consider buying for cheap. Please pm

Please don't call FBB "Beta". It confuses noobs and customers if you're trying to sell. FBB is always "Revised" or "4th Edition". European Language 1994 black border is Revised. There is also a white border revised printing. European Language with various sets not printed in that language is Renaissance. STOP ADVERTISING "ARABIAN NIGHTS" GERMAN CITIES OF BRASS OR WHATEVER. Asian 1995 black border is 4th edition.
