Personally I collect Squirrel Cards but my all-time Favorite is Spiritmonger. The guy is a beast (literally). When I first started playing Magic he was one of my first cards, I have built several decks around him. Now I'm building a G/B Glissa EDH just so I can use him.If you have more than one, do a top five list. __________________ Φ Phyrexia FTW! Φ

Meh that thread is dead. Why not start a new one? These forums need more than just pricing questions, questions if cards are real, Forum Games (Thanks Josh for Mottle Salvation) and the PFMS. __________________ Φ Phyrexia FTW! Φ

When I first started (about a week before The Dark released) the answer would have been Vesuvan Doppleganger - or even anything by Quinton Hoover. His art was one of the reasons I got hooked on the game to begin with I think.I think that card tied for first when Thorn Elemental came out (either version, though the original is a bit better in my opinion). rk Post is a great artist who is also a very personable guy who I've had the honor to meet a couple of times at conventions. For some reason, the Thorn Elemental just stuck with me...I just liked the art, the concept and the card in general. Now I've got a thing for Wurmcoil Engine and it's related tokens. They just look cool. However, that being said, there is a ton of great artists that I like, each with their own style which makes picking out any one favorite hard to do.

When I first started a friend of mine used a deck with Thorn Elementals and Rhox. It was so annoying to play against lol. I sad to say have not had the pleasure of using Wurmcoil yet. Gonna get some for EDH though. __________________ Φ Phyrexia FTW! Φ

Rite of Replication. It always leads to insane and memorable games. Especially when you use it on your own darksteel colossus __________________ "Where free unions and collective bargaining are forbidden, freedom is lost." -- Ronald Reagan

Master Transmuter, i'm in love with her. And just obsessed with artifacts in general, especially blue ones, especially women ones. She's just so damn gorgeous, i could probably stare forever, like some sort of creep.__________________ If you can make/print proxies, i will trade for them. Also looking for Microprose MTG computer game. Will trade for that or consider buying for cheap. Please pm

Gaea's Cradle. It's amazing in flavor and function, I've always been attatched to it. Now that you mention it though, Spiritmonger is up there too, it was definitely one of my first favorites.

1. Baron Sengir - Original badass vampire; if they make a set about Ulgrotha agian, I will be the first in line to buy a pallet of boxes. 2. Ihsan's Shade - coolest picture in magic; iconic character. 3. diablic edict - cause no, means no. 4. Dusk Urchins - cause they are goooood.as you can see, I like black.

Spectral Lynx - I've won quite a few legacy matches with this card mostly because of being pro green. Also gets around Tarmogoyf and any cheap walls that are played in casual or legacy play such as Wall of Blossoms, Wall of Roots, Carven Caryatid, or Overgrown Battlement.

Natural Order.... and no, not because Progenitus ... because over a decade ago, when I was about 12 years old, I could sac my Llanowar Elf turn 3 and drop a Verdant Force!!! ZOMG. Natural Order can turn into any green fatty your heart may desire. What a classic card <3 PS: IMO best art goes to Carnophage, (or Cackling Fiend Funny story behind it. My little sister had an abnormally strong fear of clowns growing up, so I used to tormet her with it and chase her around the house cackling all crazy and whatnot. I'm cruel)

Exploration, because it breaks a fundamental rule in MTG in such an elegant way.

Gonna be the goofball here I think...Gaea's Blessing It doesn't do a whole bunch, but it cycles and ups the quality of future draws. It prevents getting milled, and puts those restricted cards or combo pieces back in the deck! I would consider myself fairly competitive and I know GB just isn't all that strong, but it takes me back to the fun early days of my game. __________________ The 50,000 junk rares project! In order: Birds of Paradise Gaea's Cradle Llanowar ElvesWhen I first started, I started to play Green. One of the first deck I built that had a theme/purpose was to generate a ton of mana to Stream of Life and then Hurricane. I was so happy to get my 1st Cradle , and I joined MOTL around the same time so I used it for my username.
