I'd take a box of summer magic... i'm not sure if it was boxed by itself or not. would be nice tho

Why would the box go for more than the desired card from it?
A foil Jace and regular Jace is unlikely, but really about the only way to get your money totally back.
Would you trade a WW box for 3 Jace? Would you trade 3 Jace for a WW box?

Considering I opened 24 packs recently and the best card i pulled was a thrun, I'd take any card of value. I won the packs and no one around here will trade for the packs because they've all slowly learned that opening packs is bad. The worst part is it was PTQ prize support and I was paid out in draft sets with no other option. I only had 8 packs of those 24 as besieged.

Since the packs can be sold and drafted with I'd take the box. You can get more mileage out of a pile a packs than a singleton Jace.

I'd take the box, unless it is something junky like Kamigawa block, Homelands, Fallen Empires, or overprinted Chinese invasion block.

In general, I'd take a Jace over 3/4 a box, but not a full box.

I got 24 packs as prize support too. I ended up trading all of them away for 4 Vesuva, 2 Coralhelm Commander, and a bunch of EDH stuff that I want. We opened like 7 packs for fun afterward, and the best rare was like a $3 dollar rare or something.
