I have a few ideas for cool designs inspired by music: No place for disgrace: costs one black and a phyrexian mana symbol (paid with either another black or two life) sorcery
as an additional cost to play cardname, sacrifice a creature, draw cards equal to the sacrificed converted mana cost, or add x black mana equal to the sacrificed converted mana cost
entwine (sacrifice a creature that shares the same type) Food for the gods one green and one colorless sorcery: gain 3 life. If you control a planeswalker, gain 6 life and untap all lands you control
extreme aggression: red phyrexian symbol instant:
target creature gains haste until end of turn My body, a funeral: 3B instant You can cast this card without paying its mana cost if an opponent used an effect/spell that targets your graveyard, negate the effect and for the rest of the game, your graveyard is unaffected by all spells, activated abilities of your opponent. Lock up the wolves:
3 green one colorless sorcery: gain control of all beast type creatures Oroborous: artifact 3 colorless one green: whenever a creature is put into a graveyard or removed from the game, instead, shuffle that creature back into its owners library. Dream Evil:
2 blue 2 colorless sorcery: for the rest of the game, all instants become sorcery's and all sorcery's become instant

Probably because if you're not part of the ego stroking circle here, many think it's ok to treat you worse than the regulars. This is an answer to your general question, not the posts in this thread. Some people are just trying to be humorous i think In regards to your proposed cards: Green one: FAR too broken. Consider on 4th turn you drop garruk, untap 2 lands, and play this to gain 6 life, and untap all 4 lands you had to play... something else like thrun, or such? too much for a 2 cost card. too useless without a planeswalker
All the other ones: I can't see them being used or having much impact on anything that would be in standard right now. You might also want to think about using things like emblems. WOTC doesn't like permanent effects like some of your spells have, that players must constantly remember. I would try to make something along the lines of enchantments or artifacts with those effects, or such. Something off the top of my head to be constructive and try to add to the thread: Polarisation 1 G/U Enchantment all creatures have protection from equipment

ok, here are a couple of other cards off of my metalhead imagination: Symposium of sickness 4 colorless 2 black:
enchantment during each players upkeep, that player sacs a creature, loses 1 life, discards a card from hand, sacrifices a land, removes a card in his/her graveyard from play and removes the top card of his library from the game when a player is unable to meet any of the above requirements sacrifice card name The formation of Damnation:
5 colorless 3 black enchanment: return all permanents from the graveyard to the battlefield. All permanents are 2/2 black zombies in addition to their other types. Black Body 5 colorless: artifact creature 0/2 card name is indestructible. All sources of damage done to owner is redirected to black body Dawn of the Black Hearts one colorless one black enchanment:
all black creatures get +1/+1 and have: one black regenerate The next in line:
2 white 2 colorless enchantment: whenever a creature goes to the graveyard reveal cards from the top of your library until you reveal a creature card with converted mana cost of less than or equal to the creature that went to the graveyard. Put that creature onto the battlefield, and put the rest of the cards on the bottom of your library in any order. Torture Tactics 6 colorless, one black: cardname is colorless. You get to control target players sideboard and deck in between the match. (you make all sideboard decisins, yata yata yata

in order to play this must you have at least one card to remove in your graveyard, or does it work if you do not have a graveyard?

Too good. That's Counterspell in every deck that doesn't care about the yard. And, as worded, you don't need anything in the yard to play it.

some new cards (all of my cards are musically inspired) Sign of the cross 1 white colorless:

destroy all creatures your opponent controls they cannot be regenerated. blowtorch slaughter 2 colorless, 2 red sorcery: deal four damage divided among any number of target creatures/players you choose

Wow, you bothered to name and give text on your fake cards? Here's a good: 0 colorless mana: comes into play with 3 counters at the beginning of your upkeep, remove a counter. counters can't be placed on this artifact. You can't lose the game as long as there are counters on the card. (Maybe it should be you can't lose nor win with counters on it) There...that should stop early turn kills.

I am actually extremely shocking that you are not hated on more. On to your card, destroying then exile all of a creature type from an opponent's library, hand and graveyard is probably the least fun effect possible. If any designer even attempts to make a submission like that will probably have a pink slip on his desk that afternoon.

You haven't been around long enough to see the 35k "create your own..." threads. Hell, we even had a contest one time and the guy who ran it sent cards to the winners(I being one of them so I can confirm the truth). It's just old, annoying, and highly repetitive. In reality someone should actually make a create your own card Part - the 1st, like PFS or PFMS since this topic gets created like once a month. Especially when 90% of these topics get less than 2 pages of replies. If we just started one big one would would have an archive of created cards to go back and look at.

Me, the Planeswalker 3UR+2 Reveal the top card of your library, you may play this card as if it were in your hand. -2 Return target instant or sorcery from your graveyard to your hand. -8 You get an emblem with "Whenever you play an instant or sorcery spell copy that spell" {3}

Lock (U, Instant) Tap target permanent. That permanent does not untap during its controller's next untap step.

Steamflogger Contraption : 3RRArtifact When Steamflogger Contraption enters the battlefield put 3 1/1 Goblin Rigger tokens into play. These count as both red and artifact creatures. 1R : Tap a Goblin Rigger creature you control to assemble a Contraption. All Riggers gain +1/+1 for each Contraption in play. All Contraptions count as artifacts.
Steamflogger Assembly Line : 4 Artifact During your upkeep tap a Rigger you control to assemble a Contraption. Ignore this ability if you control no Riggers. If you control no Riggers during your upkeep put 2 1/1 Goblin Rigger tokens into play. Token card Goblin Rigger Red/Artifact 1/1 Token card Contraption Artifact
