Didn't see it, but it doesn't surprise me. Stores seem pretty good about keeping street dates on stuff like DVDs/books, but I can totally see them blanking something like gaming cards. You can always report it to Hasbro, but I doubt they would actually take any action against a big box store. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!

Wal-Mart does what they want, when they want to do it.

Walmart doesn't sell the cards directly, they have vendors that come in and stock them.

I was just curious if other vendors were selling early and wondering who else gets the free pass to do whatever they want so no one saw any anywhere else besides walmart?

my local store put on his website that the Friday before the prerelease the draft was going to use NPH. He didn't intend to use it, just some weird advertising idea he had or something, but he ended up getting a call from his wotc rep and getting a talking to. Needless to say he had zero intentions of selling anything a minute early cause losing premier store just isn't worth it.

Wal-Mart does sell the cards directly, they just have vendors who stock them for them, kind of like Coca-Cola and Pepsi. They arent in the consignment business.

and yet Wal-Mart has ZERO control on what gets stocked...vendor picks and chooses what gets stocked if anything, they rent out the space. __________________ I shall have the souls of all who defy me. "Lord Crovax"
