Oh, it was an offhand remark. Sorry there wasn't anything thought provoking or interesting in it. My post wasn't really only about the article, i was meaning about the perceived reason of why it's being reprinted (which to me is mostly the money/sales) and that the article gives me the feeling moreso. And yeah i might be a bit miffed such a powerful and nostalgic card is actually going to now be in the hands of thousands of 13 year olds I am, for myself, excited about a better art, bb, cheaper Sol Ring. And the decks themselves seem interesting, i've got to get my hands on the new W/B vamp legend (and hopefully he comes with a few sexylady underlings to enhance my collection). What kind of a price can we expect on regular (i pretty much mean WB/revised) Rings after it is printed in BB in thousands and thousands of decks... times 5. 8? Not exactly pimp.

Yep. I pre-ordered the set because of this. I'm sure I'll grab cards from them to add to other decks but, for the most part I see myself keeping them intact. I have a friend who doesn't play often. They only like sealed and EDH for the most part. Nothing like being able to grab one of these, pop open a few beers and kill a couple hours on the back patio. __________________ NEQUAQUAM VACUUM If you list one of your interests as M:tG you send first. Lucky no one sold me any Sol Ring when I was offering to buy them for $11 each =)On Legacy Boon for dealers, I must say that I must be a terrible dealer then. Whenever card prices surge, I do get to sell them for more than originally expected. However, I will be out of stock long before prices peaked. For example, I was buying Wastelands for $25-27 and selling at $30. When Wasteland initially increased, I sold all my stock at $33, then $36, then $38. When it reached $45, I reached for my deck and sold the 4 pieces in it. Out of the $25 increase in Wasteland price (from $25 to $50), I only enjoyed $3-7. I expect to restock Wasteland at $40-45, which is still above the prices at which I sold my 20+ Wastelands. Guess the only way to REALLY earn from a Boom is to sell out completely and quit MTG trading.

I'm not sure how anyone can not like this. It gives everyone access to a card that is way overpriced. It will not change the price of a alpha/beta one so I don't see the big deal. Also for anyone that complains on the price drop of the sol rings they already own I say suck it up its not on the reserved list so you knew the risks.

Almost. Doing the math, I should have my preorders in by the time my first batch of home brew is ready to drink.
