Your source is incorrect, morningtide has not been legal for awhile. Standard is the most recent two years of magic (new years begin in October when a new set is released). Also, this belongs in Magic Discussion, not Trade/value questions. __________________ "I never got any respect at all. No, his source is correct: quote: Originally posted by Wizards of the Coast: This summer there will be a few changes to the Friday Night Magic program. Starting with July, we are adding two formats to the available options. In addition to the existing formats, which are Standard, Booster Draft, Sealed Deck, and Two-Headed Giant, we will also be adding the Block Constructed and Extended formats. You can read more about Block Constructed here. You can find information on Extended here. Also, effective immediately, there is a new policy in place for the use of excess Friday Night Magic prize cards. Tournament Organizers with a surplus of Friday Night Magic cards may distribute them as prizes in another Friday Night Magic tournament, but only after those cards are no longer the current month’s prize cards. Excess Friday Night Magic prize cards may not be used for anything else.

No. The addition of Extended and Block Constructed doesn't happen until next month, and the original poster specifically noted that he's going next Friday. __________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! All your Gruul Nodorogs are belong to me.
