I bought 4 jap ancestral visions from troll and toad(on ebay, pretty sure its not linked with trader here, probably different people) for $3.99 each. Two days later I get the message that they dont have them.(price jumped about the day I bought them) I ask for english ones because I really just need them to play with. They dont have those either. They still had a link up with 3 of them for sale and they dont have them.....whatever I wrote it off as just poor service and inventory management. Not 10 days later they have 10 jap up at $9.99. At this point you can imagine I'm kinda ****ed. Not sure if I should contact ebays fraud department or if I should just let it go. Wondering if you guys have any ideas?

Email them. And the guy here is their buyer, so nag him. If they don't make it right leave a negative feedback on ebay and move on.

I'm not sure that emailing them will get you anywhere. They'll probably stick to their "we were sold out" story anyways. But, it can't hurt to inquire. Yes, the person here is their representative, I emailed them and asked. I don't think I'd nag him however, he's just a buyer and probably has nothing to do with the day to day operation. If you DO decide to message him, I would expect that you act appropriately (Hey, I'm not MOTL's Mom for nothing ) If they chose to ignore you, or not honor the price they had up beforehand, I would definitely leave neg. feedback for them though. If they were out of stock, they shouldn't have been up on ebay. And since they were up there, and you did buy them, they should honor the amount you bought at the price they had sold them to you. Thanks, Jazaray
Edit: and no, I would not contact Ebay's fraud department, as you have no real proof that they did have them. __________________ A Plastered Dragon Original Limerick: There was a nice lassie named Jaz Many wished to have what she has, A delicate face, A soft warm embrace, And a whole lot of bedroom pizzazz.WeedIan: Jazaray is like MOTL's Mom. I would email them. they have 29 Japanese Ancestral Visions from JvC on their site right now. They are perfectly within their right to refuse to sell you things FROM THEIR SITE if they choose, but not Ebay. Thats a contract. I deal with those guys a good bit and they are decent guys. Im sure they will honor the deal if you talk to them. Losing a few dollars to keep a customer happy is much better than getting a negative and losing them for life.

Leave a negative and file a non-performing seller report. I assume they gave you your money back already.

E-mail them and be nice about it--What Jaz said. Nearly every time I see one of these store owners respond to someone with "terrible customer service," the original message sent by the customer isn't really nice to begin with. If that doesn't work, I'd likely just let it go. In the long run, a couple bucks ($30?) isn't a huge deal, and you have better things to do than to stress out over it.

its just not right that when a price jump occurs, the seller tries to screw you over and say they are out of stock. has happened to me a few times as well.... for instance i won 2 4x auctions of spellskite when they were dirt cheap. then the price jump occured... and conveniently they ran out

Probably someone bought them off their site before you bought them off of ebay, happens all the time.Leave a neg if you want and move on, nothing else you can do.

Their inventories between the site and ebay are linked and there's sometimes delays. Slightly on topic: Why has AV jumped in price? __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!I collect Granite Gargoyles. Send them my way.

Thanks for help and advice, that's why i always love being part of this place. I left negative feedback. Not worth time or money worry about. Not sure for jump but they were like 2-3 range beginning of Sept.

That's too bad. Did you call them? The vast majority of these problems can be handled with a simple call, but I find most people to be afraid of the phone. Not implying that in your case, but usually a call resolved these matters quickly and in everyone's best interest.

Problem with calling stores, especially ones with high volume, is you often get some part-timer who resolutely refuses to put you through to the right person or gives you the runaround. Then again T&T is supposed to be fairly good with cusserv so maybe not.

Sure, it can happen but if you don't even try how will you ever know? T&T has been around 20 years with a good reputation for customer service.

This is probably the case. There are numerous stores that list cards on Ebay, their own website, and also through the TCGplayer website. It's still no excuse for what they did. Being as you bought from Ebay, the power is always in the hands of the buyer so if you bought something and they failed to ship you your product you can give them negative feedback and get a refund through ebay then ebay will come back to the seller for the refund. This process does take time. Usually resolved in a week or 2.

They have them back in stock though, so they should honor his bid.

I contacted them. Good news is they had 28 back in stock. ***** from there customer service said they would honer my original order and told me to pay again after that. I thought it was pretty cool and I def. appreciated it. I even talked to ebay about removing feedback left.So I paid them and just like last time, they cancel the order again. I contacted the person I was emailing today. She apologized up and down, and offered store credit. She also offered to honor the original purchase price at a later date when they get them in. So all in all I'm not happy but not so angry either. I'd still do business with them.

So you're happy they screwed you twice? I'm happy with my wife after that, but not someone I'm trying to conduct business with.

I'm not particularly happy about not getting them the second time. But when they get them in they'll give me them at price I bought($3.99 each) and I got about that much in store credit. So basically I have 4 jap ancestrals for some waiting time.
