Vintage player here.

Obviously black and red. But what about green / white? I like the idea of stuffing a deck full of Argothian Wurm and shivan wumpus. Then you have white with Armageddon, Ajani Vengeant, and vindicate. Or blue , returning lands to owners hand and then discarding?

What is your opinion?

Green has cards like:
Desert Twister
Acidic Slime
Bramblecrush
Ice Storm
Creeping Mold

Just to name a few.

White has good old Armageddon, obviously

I always thought that a fun casual deck would be Black/Green.

In addition to MeddlingMage's list, Green also has Thermokarst and Black has Icequake , Blight, and Rain of Tears.

uh, black-white anybody?

4 Sinkhole
4 Vindicate
4 Angel of Despair
If you want global LD, there's Geddon, Catastrophe, and a few other not-quite-so-good ones. There's also a fair number of 3-cost black LD spells.
Tutors and reanimation abound. Throw in mana rocks and you got a deck.

Shivan Wumpus makes me sad. Grinning Demon and abyssal Persecutor are just straight up too small for their mana cost, and black mana is so much better than red in Vintage it isn't funny. argothian Wurm requires extra work to be even that good. Geist of Saint traft is about where you need to be for an aggro card in that format, and even so you're probably better off with something that has a relevant ability (Dark Confidant, Snapcaster Mage, Gaddock teeg).

Well you know what they say "opinions are like ass holes, everyone has 1"

He already mentions Armageddon in his original list, for starters.
He clearly wants opinions of G/W and Blue and discard. He obviosuly knows about black and red. Now I say obviously bc he already knows that black and red are good for land destruction. I based that on the fact they he said:

I think you could easily get away with running blue and another color.

Blue offers:
Stifle - Stops Black Louts (If anyone is playing them now a days), also kills a fetch land.
Draw - Biggest problem with LD is that if you don't kill them before they replenish their resources you lose.

I would say black and green. However, land destruction might not be the best strategy, since Vintage players might not need much mana to go off

Black lotus is a mana ability, (as are all the moxen) and stifle will not stop it.

Sunder and Upheaval are both pretty good cards, too. It doesn't destroy their land, but it does set you pretty far ahead if you have mana rocks and whatnot.
