I would like some thoughts on playing in a league. This is a casual league, so don't get your panties in a twist.1) I have opened my fourth pack, so now I have 10 packs worth of stuff. Is it OK to play more than 40 cards? I have zero mana fixing, so I know I need to stay in two colors. I don't feel comfortable moving to just one color. 2) I have a good idea of how I want to roll with this, but I'd like fresh sets of eyes to look my pool over. Here it is: link Tell me your thoughts on each of my colors.

Looks like a nuts g/w deck. Just load up on creatures and play all 3 spider spawnings. Add in a swamp and your caravan vigil for the flash backs. Take any creature trade your opponents offer.

G/w, huh? That's a neat idea. I'm a little worried about the lack of removal. I feel like I'm close to a solar flare type deck as well, but I'm not there yet. May not get there, but it would be fun if I did. __________________ *Joshweek*Letter Bombs!*Facebook Me* *Logout- I had it first (second)!*

Well keep in mind spider spawning is a bomb. The later the game goes, the better it gets. You have 3. Also, you have a tiny bit of fixing as well as a few mana elves. Typically if I can't run solid removal, I just run as many creatures as I possibly can. Avoid tricks and just add in more creatures. Make sure to keep an eye on your curve, it should be fine.

Spider Spawning isn't really a bomb 1 Kruin Outlaw 2 Avacynian Priest 1 Elite Inquisitor 1 Fiend Hunter 1 Slayer of the Wicked 2 Mausoleum Guard 1 Thrabne Sentry 1 Abbey Griffin 1 Gallows Warden 1 Geist Honored Monk 1 Dearly Departed 1 Manored Gargoyle
1 Smite the Monstrous 1 Geist Flame 2 Brimstone Volley 2 Harvest Pyre 1 Blazing Torch 1 Silver-Inlaid Dagger (This is the Bonesplitter type card right?) 1 Mid Nighting Haunting
10W 7R This deck looks pretty nuts, had to cut some of the early and non-bomb double red spells to get to 40

I'd be playing W/R aggro. I would not play Smite and I would play Into the Maw

Agree, into the maw kills absolutely everything, and it keeps people off their splash to boot. __________________ "He fights you not because you have wronged him, but because you are there."[16:17] <@BrassMan> what do you need new tech for? I'll show you what I was running before pack 4, which had the Sentry and the Gargoyle in it:8 Mountain 8 Plains 1 Champion of the Parish 1 Doomed Traveler 2 Avacynian Priest 1 Elite Inquisitor 1 Unruly Mob 1 Urgent Exorcism 1 Village Bell-Ringer 1 Fiend Hunter 1 Slayer of the Wicked 2 Mausoleum Gurad 1 Smite the Monstrous 1 Geist-Honored Monk 1 Dearly Departed 2 Geistflame 1 Harvest Pyre 1 Village Ironsmith 2 Brimstone Volley 1 Kruin Outlaw 1 Into the Maw of Hell 1 Sharpened Pitchfork I cut Midnight Haunting because I wanted to focus on humans, and didn't have the room for it (probably could consider cutting one geistflame for it though). 4 of my 15 dudes are human, and the other one is Dearly Departed. I like my guys having first strike over +3/+0 because I don't want them to trade, which is why I cut the dagger. I ran one Exorcism main and one side because I didn't want to get caught off guard by something and lose to it. Mostly I used it to kill enchantments, like the red rare curse and Full Moon's Rise. I had both Pyres in for a long time, but two just never seemed that good to me because my creatures weren't dying, so I had few spells to pitch to them, same reason I cut Past In Flames early on. __________________ *Joshweek*Letter Bombs!*Facebook Me* *Logout- I had it first (second)!*
