Yeah, someone just pointed that out to me. Same thing with the double Chancellors. Karakas lets me bounce one every turn and Leyline stops them from playing two in a turn to circumvent that.

Fixed my score, missed the obvious fact that I can't just play 2 chancellors to avoid karakas since they are of course legendary. I was so focused on karakas bouncing that I forgot about the most important aspect of being legendary

also the leyline makes you draw against me since i can't ever make more than 1 token if leyline is there and if i dont ring the mage i lose. the bannings while it pretty much fast forwards 10-15 rounds, alot of things were missed. in this format, gerrards verdict is pretty much a strictly better hymn to tourach. 1. yakusoku - DD i just jeep l;aying down lands and then oblivion ring his mage. his leyline stops multiple tokens so his karakas keeps bounceing them. 2. LemonMeringue - LL 3. WeedIan WW - i can oblivion ring 1 mayor and then i en up always having more tokens thab him. i chump and beat down 4. ryan2754 WW mistep is useless again me. i can hold stuff in hand until i have enough mana to cast it and make a bunch of tokens. he has to vindicate of i get out of control and then i ring in his spirit and win. 5. Numotflame96 - XX 6. wayne - LL interesting that verdict was unbanned and hymn wasn't 7. dfitzg88 - Ww i out clock by a lot
8. stab107 WW - i just ring the agent then build up until i have enbough to kill in one shot. i sac the sword and just leave it so i can exile for my combat step
9. coinmagic45 LL gogo degenerate stuff. 10. Magic1264 WW - he get seige gang turn 2 off lackey, but start to amass life and tokens.

The bannings were all the things I could think of off the top of my head, but if you guys can think of things that are worthy of a ban, by all means, feel free to bring them up. I'm going to ban Gerrard's Verdict, but for now I'll leave Wheel of Fortune, Stupor, Mind Twist, and other 3+ cost discard spells alone.

The Modern banlist looks a whole lot more reasonable :P

Ouch. I showed up much better in the first week V4CB when I won. This stunk. Mental Misstep was my mistake.

1. yakusoku - Leyline doesn't affect Nexus, so I can swing 10 times before he can. WW 2. LemonMeringue - On the play, I drop Nexus. He makes me lose my hand. I swing him to 1 poison, he drops a 2nd land, then 2 poison, 3 lands, then 3-4, 4-5, 5-6, 6-7 and he drops a Chancellor, 7 and he drops another and swings me to 14, 8 and he attacks me to 2, 9 and then I die. LL 3. WeedIan - On the play, I play turn 1 Nexus. He plays Plains. I play land, he plays Forest. I play basic #2. He plays Forest then Mayor #1. I die to Mayors before I can play Progenitus as long as he holds back 1 Plains for Path every turn. LL 4. ryan2754 - I combo him. WW 5. Numotflame96 - I combo him. I hate scoring for this game, because I am that lazy... but I do like arguing points. Gives me something interesting to think about when I'm in anthropology.So here goes, Yaku- Against Stab, you cant bounce the agent, because it has hexproof, but you should be able to name web of inertia, and bounce his control magic at the end of his turn every turn, thus being able to race the agent and just WW. Against Magic1264, he never trades his siege-gang with mage, when he gets the mana, he flings the lacky at the mage, but then karakas is enough to stop him from winning with SGC. Still DD, but it makes more sense to get rid of the mage so that you cant stare.
