I'm needing to know whats the best way to ship to Singapore? I'm potentially selling some cards on ebay valued over a 100 dollars and I'm nervous to ship and have him say he never received it. I know in the United States I can get delivery confirmation to cover myself if that happens with Paypal. But what is needed to cover myself shipping to Singapore and how much will it cost?

Ah, I am a Singaporean and I buy 10k of stuff here every month, so I can best advice you. Cheapest way of sending with tracking is via registered mail where the basic mailing cost of $3-4 will be added with registered cost of $12, making total of $15-16. Most MOTL sellers will charge $15 for registered mail. Next cheapest way of sending with tracking is $14 flat rate priority mail envelope/small box with $12 registered mail, total $26 Premium and fast service will be USPS Express Mail $30 Flat Rate envelope that you can stuff 100-500 cards into, depending on how you pack your cards

So if I get registered mail that's enough to protect me from paypal issuing a refund back to the seller if they claim not to have received?

Ask for Gift payment then. Paypal NEVER EVER refund gift payment. So if he send you gift payment, he can never request for a refund via Paypal.

I'm guessin he can log in to paypal normally and send a gift payment and just bypass ebay all together when payin. Maybe I'll get lucky and have an American win the auction so it will only be 2.51 and saves me a lot of headache lol.

he can log into paypal and send you a gift payment... and this is breaking nearly every rule they have on ebay so you shouldn't ask him and they shouldn't do it.

As others have said, it's not a good idea to ask for gift payment, and especially not through the eBay messaging system. But why don't you just ask the buyer to pay for registered shipping and give him a chance to retract his bid if he doesn't want to?

How about just blocking international bidders on the auction?

Depends on the buyer, ship to reputable traders and you should be fine. Singapore's mail system is very reliable.
