I have heard that there are indicators on a booster pack that can be used to identify if the cards are summer-revised. Are there any signs on a booster box that do the same thing? This question came to mind and I'm really just curious. Thanks.

Packs and boxes look the same as revised. The only way to tell is searching or opening a pack.Edit: autocorrect text

Any sealed summer product I've ever seen had an E written in green marker on it circled.

The e was written by troll and toad, not wizards. And it isn't circled.

When are you going to get some Summer Volcanics and trade me those Betas?

Could have sworn it was circled, I could be mistaken though, it was quite awhile ago : /

PRetty sure T&T came from the gen-con auction in 2004 and they had the E on them then.

I'm glad this topic is getting a lot of discussion. Were summer cards produced at a different location or were all Magic cards made in Carta Mundi in Europe?

Just to note- Not all Summer packs have an "E" on them, and any idiot with a green sharpie could do this. Obviously, I'm not implying anything against a well-respected dealer. The TRUE way to tell is to press the pack wrapper down towards the bottom. You need to see a Copyright 1994 at the bottom, this is not on a Revised card, but a Summer card. Old MtG packs are semi-transparent & searchable. Point being, some idiot paid about $150 for an OPENED Summer pack with an "E" on it. Ebay, maybe 4-5 months ago. Sad thing is, it was auction style, so several people were bidding on it. That's right, a Revised booster pack wrapper, with some sharpie written "E." No cards, nothing. Just a wrapper. I can have you another one in a few minutes, and I'll sell it to you for the low low price of $100. Before you do anything stupid like this, ask me or someone who's been collecting this stuff for a very long time, I'm happy to help.
