Local shops can order foreign language boxes for you. Otherwise, eBay.

some shops are just lazy and "can't" get them. If the shop can order directly from wizards, they can get them. From distributors, its all up the the distributor.

Really? Always thought they cost more and that was the main reason that new cards in jap foil cost so much more than english.

No, it's the same price for a box no matter the language. Japanese foils cost more because they are rarer and it makes up for the fact that 90% of the cards in the box are basicly worthless.

Not completely true. In the US, the box prices are the same; in Japan, the equivalent cost is much higher per pack.

Not exactly. The english booster pack price is about the same. Japanese boxes cost more than English even in Japan though.

You said the same thing I did, just differently. :P Basically, Japanese players pay more/pack than American players, regardless of language

Why do you say this?

I would assume japanese playable cards are worth more than the english ones (even for commons and uncommons)..

Am I wrong?

Is english really that preferable when dealing with chaff?

What's worse, a bunch of crappy cards you can't use, or a bunch of crappy cards you can't use and also can't read?

English bulk is easy to move. Japanese no one wants. Figure about 10% of the cards are playable, the rest are basicly worthless.
